    摘要: There is described a method and a device for positioning an element of a machine. A setpoint position variable is generated, said setpoint position variable is reduced by means of a limiting variable and a modified setpoint position variable which is forwarded as a setpoint variable to a controller for positioning the element is formed in this manner. An expected setpoint position variable is determined from the modified setpoint position variable, the braking distance of the element is determined from the expected setpoint position variable, and a braking process of the element is initiated if the braking distance matches a target position which is reduced by the expected setpoint position variable. An element of a machine can so be positioned with accuracy.

    摘要: A method and apparatus is provided for effecting semi-closed loop positioning of a work piece, such as corrugated-board, which corrects for inherent tolerance errors in the apparatus. A controller operates a processing device, for example a slotter, a positioning device and a position measuring device. The processing device and the work piece are positioned relative each other to align the processing device with a target position on the work piece defined by a target position value. The measuring device is then used to determine the initial actual position value of the processing device relative to the work piece. A processing size is determined and tested to find whether the size is within a given tolerance. If the size is outside the tolerance, fine adjustments are made to reposition the work piece. Once the position of the processing device is within tolerance, the measuring device measures the position of the processing device to determine a corrected actual position value. The difference between the initial actual position value and the corrected actual position value is added to the target value to produce a new target position value for subsequent work piece processing.

    摘要: A self-adjusting motor positioning system comprises a motor including a shaft extending therefrom, a disc coupled to the motor shaft and having at least first and second notches, rotating apparatus coupled to the motor shaft whereby the rotating apparatus is intermittently driven by the motor, a sensor adjacent the disc for detecting the first and second notches, and a control processor coupled to the sensor and the motor for receiving detection signals from the sensor and for turning the motor on and off. The control processor includes memory for storing a time delay count representing a time delay for the control processor to turn off the motor after the second notch is detected by the sensor. The rotating apparatus includes a starting position from which the rotating apparatus begins. The first notch in the disc corresponds to the starting position of the rotating apparatus. The control processor turns the motor off when the time delay expires after the sensor detects the second notch. The sensor senses for the first notch as the motor coasts to a stop, and the control processor adjusts the time delay count if the first notch is not detected when the disc is at a complete stop.
