    摘要: A passive thermal control valve comprising a thermal actuator coupled to a valve body having first and second ports. The thermal actuator including an actuator body having an inner bore. An adjustment stop engages the actuator body. A cylinder is received within the actuator body inner bore and the cylinder has a cylinder bore open at one end. An actuator spring within the actuator body biases the cylinder towards the adjustment stop. An actuator rod is at least partially received within the cylinder and has first and second ends. At least a portion of the actuator rod is allowed to extend through the open cylinder bore. A sealing element forms a seal between the actuator rod and the cylinder and defines a sealed chamber within the cylinder. A thermal fluid is contained within the cylinder. A lever mechanism is connected to the valve body and includes a lever having a first end connected to the valve body. A valve spool is connected to a lever second end. The valve spool is arranged and designed to close the first port and allow a system fluid to flow through the second port, close the second port and allow the system fluid to flow through the first port, or allow the system fluid to flow through both the first and second ports.

    摘要: An electropneumatic proportional flow control device improves electropneumatic control of pneumatically operated valves. Improved turn down ratios in regards to the electromagnetic response of the device to a supplied control voltage is achieved using two variable spring devices, one linear, as part of the pressure regulator valve component, and the other non-linear, as part of the proportional valve component and which are magnetically responsive to different magnetic forces. The use of both the linear and non-linear springs together results in an increased turndown-ratio, especially during initial valve control.

    摘要: The initially cold water streams of a household hot water plumbing circuit are accumulated in a storage container to be thereafter drained off with the cold water stream, at various flow restricted levels, thereby conserving water use. This accumulate may be adjustably admixed into the waste products of a household drinking water purification system, thereby diluting it to acceptable levels that may be useful for washing and the like. Additionally, and/or alternatively, the fresh water stream may be admixed into the water purification waste water stream. Each of these water conserving functions is conformed to be combined in a stepwise manner, thereby accommodating budgetary and use growth constraints.

    摘要: A flow regulator for a water pump, comprising a valve body, a control element, a tube, a spring, and a connecting pipe. The valve body is roughly shaped like a cross, enclosing a first chamber and a second chamber in a vertical direction and having a passageway in a horizontal direction. The control element is glidingly movable in the vertical direction in the first chamber. The tube is placed in said second chamber. The spring is inserted between the control element and the tube and pushes the control element to perform a vertical movement. The connecting pipe is connected with the first tube, transmitting water pressure from a supply pipe to the first tube. The piston block is pushed inward by the water pressure, narrowing the passageway, while being pressed outward by the elastic force, so that controlled water flow and pressure in the supply pipe are achieved.

    摘要: A flow control device or valve used in a power steering system of an automotive vehicle. The flow control device comprises a housing formed with an axially extending hole in which a spool valve is movably disposed. A first pressure chamber is defined in the hole, with one end of the spool valve. A drain passage is opened to the first pressure chamber and closable with the spool valve. A second pressure chamber is defined in the hole, with the other end of the spool valve. A restricting orifice is provided to be communicated with the first pressure chamber. An introduction passage is formed to be communicated through the restricting orifice with a discharge passage and opened to the first pressure chamber. The pressure in the discharge passage is introduced to the second pressure chamber. A first spring is disposed in the second pressure chamber to bias the spool valve in a direction to close the drain passage. A spring holding member is movably and coaxially disposed in the axially extending hole. The spring holding member has a first end face defining the second pressure chamber, and a second end face which is larger in pressure-receiving area than the first end face. The first spring is disposed between the spool valve and the first end face of the spring holding member. The second end face of the spring holding member defines a pressure control chamber communicated with the second pressure chamber. Additionally, a second spring is provided to bias the spring holding member in a direction to reduce a volume of the pressure control chamber.

    摘要: An adjustable valve for controlling fluid flow between an inlet and an outlet in a valve. A compressed spring biases a valve member against the valve inlet to prevent fluid flow until the fluid pressure reaches a certain level. One end of the spring contacts a hydraulic plunger which is moved with a hydraulic fluid. The hydraulic fluid pressure can be raised to increase the spring force acting against the valve element, and the hydraulic fluid pressure can be reduced to decrease the spring force acting against the valve element. The flow rate at the valve outlet can be monitored, and flow rate signals can be transmitted to a controller for adjusting the hydraulic fluid pressure in response to the flow rate detected.

    摘要: A connector 5 having an outlet 4 for delivering a pressure oil to a power steering apparatus PS is secured in an opening of a valve receiving bore 2 in which a flow controlling spool valve 3 is received. The connector 5 includes an axial bore 5a which continues from the outlet 4 and in which a valve sleeve 10 is slidably fitted. The valve sleeve 10 has pressure oil passages 11, 12 therein in which orifices 13, 14, 15 are formed, and pressure differentials thereacross are utilized to operate the spool valve 3 in order to return an excess amount of flow. At its outer end, the valve sleeve 10 is formed with a flange 10b, and a restriction 20 is defined between the outer peripheral surface of the flange 10b and the internal peripheral surface of the valve receiving bore 2 for restricting the flow rate of the pressure oil. A pressure differential developed across the restriction 20 is effective to move the valve sleeve 10 to control the orifices 14, 15 so that the latter may be reduced.

    摘要: A constant flow rate controller valve includes a piston spring biased towards the top of the valve. Fluid flowing into the valve increases the forces in the chamber above the piston, forcing the piston toward a valve seat. The piston is thus seated in the valve seat, blocking fluid flow to the outlet port. The forces on the piston in the chamber below the piston builds as flow goes through the piston until the forces in this chamber including the piston spring force is greater than the forces in the chamber above the piston. The piston then is lifted from the valve seat, and the pathway to the outlet orifice is opened. Fluid flows through the piston via the calibrated orifice. An equilibrium flow rate is reached by variation in the piston position based on the location of the movable seat which sets and maintains a constant differential pressure.
