摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for monitoring vehicles traversing a dedicated roadway that includes an at-grade crossing. In some implementations, a system includes a central server, a gate system, and sensors. The gate system provides access to an at-grade crossing for vehicles. The sensors are positioned in a fixed location relative to a roadway, the roadway including the at-grade crossing. Each sensor can detect vehicles on the roadway. For each vehicle, each sensor can generate sensor data and observational data from the generated sensor data. Each sensor can determine a likelihood that the detected vehicle will approach the at-grade crossing by comparing the likelihood to a threshold. In response, each sensor can transmit data to the gate system that causes the gate system to allow the autonomous vehicle access to the at-grade crossing prior to the autonomous vehicle reaching the gate system.

摘要: A method of compressing digital signal data obtained from a signal is described. The method includes: receiving digital signal data associated with a signal and/or generating digital signal data based on a signal; transforming the digital signal data into a transform domain, thereby generating transformed digital signal data; determining at least one characteristic parameter based on the transformed digital signal data by an artificial intelligence circuit; detecting and/or classifying at least one wanted signal portion based on the at least one characteristic parameter by the artificial intelligence circuit; and storing only a subset of the digital signal data that is associated with the at least one wanted signal portion. Further, a signal compressor circuit for compressing digital signal data obtained from a signal and a computer program are described.

The method includes receiving frequency words from a tag attached to a container containing material, wherein the tag provides a low-energy sensing configured to transmit the frequency words; extracting at least a first data feature from the received frequency words, wherein the first data feature changes in response to a type of material in the container; classifying the extracted data feature to label a type of the material in the container; and sending a notification indicating the type of material in the container.

摘要: A system that measures a swing of a bat with one or more sensors and analyzes sensor data to create swing quality metrics. Metrics may include for example rotational acceleration, on-plane efficiency, and body-bat connection. Rotational acceleration measures the centripetal acceleration of the bat along the bat's longitudinal axis at a point early in the rotational part of the swing; it is an indicator of the swing's power. On-plane efficiency measures how much of the bat's angular velocity occurs around the swing plane, the plane spanned by the bat and the bat's sweet spot velocity at impact. Body-bat connection measures the angle between the bat and the body tilt axis, which is estimated from the trajectory of the hand position on the bat through the swing; an ideal bat-body connection is near 90 degrees. These three swing quality metrics provide a simple and useful characterization of the swing mechanics.

摘要: Systems and techniques are provided for automatically analyzing and processing domain-specific image artifacts and document images. A process can include obtaining a plurality of document images comprising visual representations of structured text. An OCR-free machine learning model can be trained to automatically extract text data values from different types or classes of document image, based on using a corresponding region of interest (ROI) template corresponding to the structure of the document image type for at least initial rounds of annotations and training. The extracted information included in an inference prediction of the trained OCR-free machine learning model can be reviewed and validated or corrected correspondingly before being written to a database for use by one or more downstream analytical tasks.
