Abstract: A system of generating data from diffusion-weighted images for pre-processing and a method thereof are disclosed. In the system, a processing parameter set including diffusion information is acquired; after a raw diffusion-weighted image including data images and image information is acquired, the image information is interpreted to set image processing data of the raw diffusion-weighted image, and non-deformation correction and deformation correction are performed on the raw diffusion-weighted image to generate a pre-processed diffusion-weighted image based on the processing parameter set and the image processing data. Therefore, the image processing data can be automatically set based on the raw diffusion-weighted image, to achieve the effect of lowering difficulty for analyzing DWI and saving setup time of image processing data.

Abstract: An imaging method may include obtaining imaging data associated with a region of interest (ROI) of an object. The imaging data may correspond to a plurality of time-series images of the ROI. The imaging method may also include determining, based on the imaging data, a data set including a spatial basis and one or more temporal bases. The spatial basis may include spatial information of the imaging data. The one or more temporal bases may include temporal information of the imaging data. The image analysis system is configured to receive image data associated with a brain of a patient, the image data including a first three-dimensional (3D) diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) image acquired using a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system and a second 3D DWI image, concurrently provide the first 3D DWI image to a first channel of a trained model and the second 3D DWI image to a second channel of the trained model, receive an indicator associated with the first 3D DWI image and the second 3D DWI image from the model, generate a report based on the indicator, and cause the report to be output to at least one of a memory or a display.

Abstract: The present solution can segment tracts by performing two-pass tractography. The system can first perform deterministic tractography and then probabilistic tractography. The system can use the result from the deterministic tractography to update and refine initial identified regions of interest. The refined regions of interest can be used to filter and select streamlines identified through the probabilistic tractography.

Abstract: Exemplary method, system, and computer-accessible medium can be provided for determining a measure of diffusional kurtosis by receiving data relating to at least one diffusion weighted image, and determining a measure of a diffusional kurtosis as a function of the received data using a closed form solution procedure. In accordance with certain exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, provided herein are computer-accessible medium, systems and methods for, e.g., imaging in an MRI system, and, more particularly for facilitating estimation of tensors and tensor-derived measures in diffusional kurtosis imaging (DKI). For example, DKI can facilitate a characterization of non-Gaussian diffusion of water molecules in biological tissues. The diffusion and kurtosis tensors parameterizing the DKI model can typically be estimated via unconstrained least squares (LS) methods. In the presence of noise, motion, and imaging artifacts, these methods can be prone to producing physically and/or biologically implausible tensor estimates. The exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure can address at least this deficiency by formulating an exemplary estimation problem, e.g., as linearly constrained linear LS, where the constraints can ensure acceptable tensor estimates.
