    摘要: An acoustic magnetic tag includes a housing, a resonant sheet, and a biasing magnetic sheet received in the main body. The housing includes a main body having an opening, a first connecting portion connected to one side of the main body, a second connecting portion connected to an other side of the main body opposite to the one side, a partition connected to the first connecting portion, and a cover connected to the second connecting portion. The partition is rotated relative to the main body to be received in the main body by folding the first connecting portion, and the cover is rotated relative to the main body to cover the opening by folding the second connecting portion. The partition is positioned between the resonant sheet and the biasing magnetic sheet.

    摘要: A system for tracking the position of multiple objects in three dimensional space by transmitting radar interrogation signals having predetermined wave shapes to surface acoustic wave transducers attached to each object. Each transducer includes a unique electrically conductive pattern on one surface of a piezoelectric substrate for selectively responding to the predetermined wave shape of one of the interrogation signals for inducing a surface acoustic wave in the substrate and for thereafter transforming the surface acoustic wave into an electromagnetic response signal having detectable properties that uniquely identify said transducer. The location of each transducer is estimated by measuring the time-of-flight or angle-of-arrival of the radar signals at several measurement stations and producing a position estimate by triangulation.

    摘要: A radio frequency automatic identification system detects targets which include a plurality of radio frequency resonators. Information is attributed to the target in accordance with the radio frequency response characteristics of the target, such as the resonant frequencies of resonators present, and/or the spatial locations within the target of the resonators. Preferred resonators include thin dipoles, which may be metallizations on a plastic film substrate. Information may be attributed to a target by fabricating the target with resonators disposed at locations to encode information in accordance with a predetermined encoding system; alternatively, resonators may be randomly disposed, and a translation code applied to convert the radio frequency information to particular information in a particular format. Readers for use in the system read the radio frequency response characteristics of a target in the near field of a radiating aperture which is illuminated by a radio frequency source. Items which may be encoded with radio frequency readable information include documents, credit cards, and computer diskettes.

    摘要: A batteryless, portable frequency divider, such as used in presence detection systems for article surveillance or as used for article-location determination, includes a series LC resonant circuit connected directed across a parallel LC resonant circuit. One circuit is resonant at a first frequency and the other circuit is resonant at a second frequency that is a plural-integer-divided quotient of the first frequency. In one class of embodiments, either or both of the series and parallel resonant circuits includes a variable capacitance element, such as a varactor, in which the capacitance varies in accordance with the voltage across the variable capacitance element. The variation of the capacitance of the variable capacitance element in response to variations in energy in the higher-frequency resonant circuit resulting from receipt electromagnetic radiation at the first frequency causes the lower-frequency resonant circuit to transmit electromagnetic radiation at the second frequency. In another class of embodiments, the parallel circuit is resonant at the higher first frequency and the series circuit is resonant at the frequency-divided second frequency; the frequency divider includes a three-terminal semiconductor switching device having a control terminal, a reference terminal, and a controlled terminal, which is connected directly across both resonant circuits and between the inductance and the capacitance of the series resonant circuit and which switches on and off in response to variations in energy in the parallel resonant circuit resulting from the parallel resonant circuit receiving electromagnetic radiation at the first frequency to cause the series resonant circuit to transmit electromagnetic radiation at the second frequency.

    摘要: A high frequency (HF) generator projects an electronic wave into a surveillance area to establish a first field. At least one control zone is set up within the surveillance area by two frequency modulated (FM) generators. The first FM generator establishes a second field in the control zone. The second FM generator establishes a third field only at a control zone margin, thereby defining the limits of the control zone. Presence within the control zone of a transponder cause reradiation of a signal comprised of the high frequency and FM signal, which provides an output signal. Additional control zones may be set up within the surveillance area by the addition of further FM generators.

At least one control zone is set up within the surveillance area by two low frequency (LF) generators. The first LF generator establishes a second field in the control zone. The second LF generator establishes a third field only at a control zone margin, thereby defining the limits of the control zone. Presence within the control zone of a transponder causes reradiation of a signal comprised of the high frequency and LF signal, which provides an output signal.     摘要: An anti-theft AM label is formed with a housing that includes concave and/or convex patterns and wordings on the upper surface thereof. The concave and/or convex patterns and wordings provide a different appearance for anti-theft AM labels that can deter shoplifters from finding and removing the labels from the goods the labels are protecting. The concave and/or convex patterns can be the logo of the store in which the labels are used. The upper surface of the housing can be formed with a cold forming process or a hot forming process. The shape of the housing can be varied between square, rectangular, circular, sector and oval configurations, as desired by the customer. The depth of the patterns and words relative to a flat portion of the upper surface of the housing is in the range of 0.05-1.0 mm or, more preferably, in the range of 0.2-1.0 mm.
