摘要: A setting method of a monitoring system including a light projecting and receiving unit having an emitting section and a scanning section to make light flux scan within a monitoring space, a processing section to measure a distance to an object by processing signals from the light projecting and receiving unit and to output a measurement point marker group provided with three-dimensional distance information for each measurement point, a display device, and a user interface to perform input of temporary attitude information, includes: inputting the temporary attitude information via the user interface to adjust an attitude or position of the measurement point marker group displayed on the display device; performing coordinate conversion for at least the measurement point marker group on a basis of the temporary attitude information having been input; and displaying the measurement point marker group after having been subjected to the coordinate conversion on the display device.

摘要: A detection system for measuring one or more conditions within a predetermined area includes a fiber harness having at least one fiber optic cable for transmitting light, the at least one fiber optic cable defining a node arranged to measure the one or more conditions. A control system is operably coupled to the fiber harness such that scattered light associated with the node is transmitted to the control system, wherein the control system analyzes the scattered light to determine at least one of a presence and magnitude of the one or more conditions at the node. An optical element is operably connected to the fiber harness or control system to alter or define the operational range or sensitivity of the node.

摘要: Provided is a safety scanner capable of obtaining uniform optical performance for a view angle of 180° or more. The safety scanner includes an optical rotator that emits detection light from a light source to a detection area and causes the detection light to perform scanning in a circumferential direction, a light receiving element that receives reflected light from an object within the detection area through the optical rotator, a casing that houses the light receiving element. The casing includes a canopy part, a bottom part facing the canopy part, and a coupling part that couples a rear end of the canopy part to a rear end of the bottom part. The protective cover includes a window formed in a circular arc shape, corresponding to an optical path of the detection light and the reflected light, having a central angle larger than 180° with respect to the rotation axis.

摘要: The laser scanning sensor includes a laser distance meter, a scanning mechanism, a distance data acquisition unit, a distance data complementation unit, a human body judgment unit, an alarm output control unit, and a memory. For each measurement direction when a piece of distance information corresponds to an unintended object located at a shorter distance than an object to be originally detected and when complementation of the piece of distance information is possible based on a piece of distance information in an adjacent measurement direction or at a previous measurement cycle, the distance data complementation unit replaces the piece of distance information in the measurement direction corresponding to the unintended object with an interpolated value based on the piece of distance information acquired in the adjacent measurement direction or with an interpolated value based on the piece of distance information acquired in the measurement direction at a previous measurement cycle.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for device-free motion detection and presence detection within an area of interest. A plurality of nodes, configured to be arranged around the area of interest, form a wireless network. The plurality of nodes transmit wireless signals as radio waves and receive transmitted wireless signals. The received signal strength (RSS) of the transmitted wireless signals between the plurality of nodes are measured and a value is reported. A computing device receives the reported values for the measured RSS and tracks the reported values over time. The computing device processes the reported values using an aggregate disturbance calculation to detect motion and presence within the area of interest. The computing device may notify notification device of a detected disturbance within the area of interest.
