    摘要: Durable fabric RFID labels are provided for mounting on garments, fabrics and other fabric-containing items, the mounting and durability being before, during or after manufacturing and processing of the items. These labels are robust enough to withstand processing during manufacturing, while being capable of remaining on the item during inventory handling, merchandising and consumer use, including washing and drying. The durable labels include an RFID inlay, a face sheet overlying a first face of the RFID inlay, and a functional adhesive, such as a hot-melt adhesive, overlying a second face of the RFID inlay. The face sheet can be of printable material or have indicia or be a printed face sheet. The functional adhesive can be of a moisture-resistive type. The RFID inlay can be encased within a pocket of polymeric material. A polymeric sheet reinforcement layer can be adhered to and cover all or a portion of the RFID inlay.

According to various embodiments, one or more sensors embedded in or attached to an article of clothing detect that the clothing is in physical contact with a user at a particular time. Thereafter, it is determined that the article of clothing is being worn by the user at the particular time, based on the detecting. Further, user wear history information may be generated, the user wear history indicating that, at the particular time, the user is wearing the article of clothing. The user wear history information may include one or more data points associated with one or more specified times, each of the data points indicating whether the article of clothing is being worn by the user or is not being worn by the user at the corresponding specified time.

    摘要: A hard cover product with a pair of cover boards attached to an outer liner in spaced-relation to define a spine, with a thin-film ink-circuit security device printed on a laydown area, and having an inner liner. The laydown area can be defined in the spine, and the inner liner or an inner body attached to the cover boards conceals the printed security device from casual observation of its presence. The laydown area can be defined on a surface of a sheet laminated to another sheet to define one of cover boards. The laminated sheets sandwich the printed security device without a surface indication of the presence of the ink-circuit printed security device therein. In another aspect, the thin-film ink-circuit security device printed on a surface of the cover board is concealingly covered by the inner or the outer liner.

    摘要: A security device having a flexible material into which a product may be sealed and unauthorized removal of the product triggers a security alarm. The security device includes a flexible material adapted to house a product therein and is operable in a sealed orientation when the product is sealed within the flexible material and in an open orientation when the product is accessible from within the flexible material. Conductive material is affixed to the flexible material and forms a closed electrical circuit with an alarming device when the security device is in the sealed orientation and an open electrical circuit when the circuit is opened. The security alarm is triggered when the electrical circuit is opened.

    摘要: A wireless tamper detection sensor is defined by a perforated electrical conductor. The conductor is shaped to form a geometric pattern between first and second ends thereof such that the conductor defines an open-circuit that can store and transfer electrical and magnetic energy. The conductor resonates in the presence of a time-varying magnetic field to generate a harmonic response. The harmonic response changes when the conductor experiences a change in its geometric pattern due to severing of the conductor along at least a portion of the perforations. A magnetic field response recorder is used to wirelessly transmit the time-varying magnetic field and wirelessly detecting the conductor's harmonic response.

    摘要: An anti-theft box that is molded to support an electronic article surveillance tag within a cavity is provided. Disposed within either the base or the top of the box is a cavity for supporting an EAS sensor. The cavity is sized to receive the EAS sensor and may include a cover for further securing the sensor within the cavity to help prevent tampering with the sensor. The cavity may be visible from the exterior to a consumer so that the consumer can see the EAS marker. In one embodiment the cavity is separately formed and is inserted within an opening in the base of the box. The box may be used to support a variety of articles, including articles of jewelry.
