    摘要: A button mechanism includes a casing. A lock hole and an engaging portion are formed and disposed on a bottom of the casing, and a plurality of open slots is formed on a lateral wall of the casing. The button mechanism further includes a plurality of buttons respectively disposed on the corresponding open slots, a fixing component, and a supporting component. An end of the supporting component is engaged with the engaging portion. The supporting component includes a first part whereon a piercing hole is formed. The fixing component pierces through the piercing hole and the lock hole to fix the first part on the bottom of the casing. The supporting component further includes a second part connected to the first part and contacting against the plurality of first buttons for constraining movements of the plurality of buttons relative to the casing.

    摘要: An electronics enclosure and associated components form a self-contained, unitized assembly including control buttons and illuminated indicator elements, that can be mated as a single piece with an outer user interface control panel fascia. A front panel of the electronics enclosure provides a mounting location for various buttons and lighted indicators that will show through mating apertures provided in the control panel fascia. This may include light pipe collars and integral spring levers. Specially configured cup structures may be integrally molded at the ends of the spring levers to provide electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. A mount of planar spring button pieces on the front enclosure panel, over the associated spring levers, results in an assembly incorporating two springs serving to bias the associated button to its return position, and eliminating any rattle or looseness of the parts.

    摘要: A switch arrangement for a control panel placed on the dashboard or a central console in a motor vehicle. The switch arrangement comprises a housing for at least one switch having an actuating element. The switch is located in a receptacle in the housing. A mask whose contour has a curvature and a recess can be mounted on the housing, through which recess an actuating element of the switch projects after the mask has been applied. The housing has at least two housing parts, with each housing part being associated with an area of mask. The side of housing parts associated with the mask is arranged approximately parallel to a plane surface that follows the curvature of corresponding areas of the mask.

    摘要: A keypad is formed of a set of transparent buttons slidably located within apertures of a grid. The grid has sidewalls for engagement with the base of a printed circuit board. Switch assemblies are provided by conductive elastomeric domes formed of a single sheet of elastomeric material disposed between the printed circuit board and the buttons. Integrally formed within a concave side of each dome is a contact region driven by a displacement of a button towards the printed cirucit board. An insulating layer above strip conductors of the circuit board is perforated at sites of the switches to allow the contact region to touch the exposed portions of the conductors to complete an electrical circuit. A dome deforms with springiness which urges the dome back to its original shape upon release of a button by a user of the keypad. Manufacture of the keypad is facilitated by construction of a set of the butons on a webbing which maintains alignment of the buttons as they are secured to the respective domes. The webbing is later removed to permit insertion of the buttons into apertures of the grid.
