    摘要： A battery pack assembly for an electric vehicle includes a plurality of battery modules, each of the plurality of battery modules including a plurality of tubes, each of the plurality of tubes including a plurality of individual battery cells therein, where the plurality of individual battery cells within each of the plurality of tubes are in series configuration; and a pair of end cap assemblies positioned at respective ends of the plurality of tubes, the pair of end cap assemblies securing the plurality of individual battery cells and the plurality of tubes in a tightened position by mechanical pressure; the pair of end cap assemblies including a respective electrical connector for connecting the plurality of individual battery cells to the electric vehicle when the battery pack assembly is in the tightened position.

    摘要： This application relates to a battery module and a battery pack. The battery module includes a binding member and battery cell assemblies arranged along a horizontal direction, the battery cell assembly including an upper-layer battery cell and a lower-layer battery cell that are stacked along a vertical direction, the upper-layer battery cell and the lower-layer battery cell interconnected and forming a joint; and the binding member covering the joint, located between two adjacent battery cell assemblies, and fixed to the battery cell assemblies. The battery module includes a binding member and a plurality of battery cell assemblies, and the battery cell assembly includes upper-layer and a lower-layer battery cells stacked along a vertical direction. A joint is formed between the upper-layer and lower-layer battery cells and covered by the joint fixed to the battery cell assemblies, swelling of the upper-layer and lower-layer battery cells at the joint is reduced.

    摘要： A method of manufacturing a battery pack that is provided with a plurality of stacked unit cells, the method comprising a step of, when a unit cell disposed on one outermost layer is referred to as a first unit cell, and, of the plurality of unit cells stacked in order from the first unit cell, the unit cell disposed on the other outermost layer opposite to that of the first unit cell is referred to as the Nth, where N is a positive number of 2 or more, unit cell: arranging an anvil at an external terminal of the Nth unit cell outside the battery pack; arranging a horizontal-vibration horn either at an external terminal of the (N−1)th unit cell outside the battery pack, or between an external terminal of the (N−1)th unit cell and an external terminal of the (N−2)th unit cell; and then using the anvil and the horn to ultrasonically join the external terminal of the Nth unit cell and the external terminal of the (N−1)th unit cell.
