Abstract: The present application relates to a battery module and a battery pack, the battery module including a battery cell arrangement structure, bus bars and a fixing plate, where the battery cell arrangement structure includes a plurality of battery cells; the plurality of battery cells are electrically connected by means of a plurality of the bus bars to form a first output electrode of the battery module and a second output electrode of the battery module, and the first output electrode of the battery module and the second output electrode of the battery module are arranged at a same end of the battery module along a horizontal direction; the fixing plate is provided with an insulating portion, and at least a part of the insulating portion is located between the first output electrode of the battery module and the second output electrode of the battery module.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a battery module and a battery pack. The battery module comprises a plurality of battery cells and a fireproof member, wherein each of the plurality of battery cells is provided with a vent, and the vent faces the fireproof member; wherein the fireproof member includes a fireproof member body and a first extension connected to an upper end of the fireproof member; and/or a second extension connected to a lower end of the fireproof member. When thermal runaway occurs to the battery cells, flames and high temperature particles ejected out of the vent are blocked by the fireproof member body and the first extension and/or the second extension, thus preventing the ejected flames and high temperature particles from burning neighboring battery cells, and preventing the battery cells that has undergone thermal runaway from inducing thermal runaway of the neighboring battery cells opposite to the vents.

Abstract: A temperature sensor is described. The temperature sensor includes a body, provided with a channel for heat-exchanging liquid flowing at an interior of the body; and a sensing assembly, arranged on the body and including a temperature sensing member and a sensing casing, in which one end of the sensing casing is opened, a cavity is formed inside the sensing casing, the sensing casing is mounted on the body, a closing end of the sensing casing extends into the channel, the temperature sensing member is arranged in the cavity to sense the temperature of the heat-exchanging liquid through the sensing casing, and a thermal conductivity of the sensing casing is larger than a thermal conductivity of the body. By using the material with a higher thermal conductivity in the sensing casing, the temperature conduction speed can be accelerated, and the detecting result of the temperature sensor can be more accurate.

The battery includes: a battery cell including a pressure relief mechanism, the pressure relief mechanism being disposed at a first wall of the battery cell; and a thermal management component configured to accommodate a fluid to adjust a temperature of the battery cell; where a first surface of the thermal management component is attached to the first wall of the battery cell, the thermal management component is configured to be capable of being damaged by emissions discharged from the battery cell when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, such that the emissions pass through the thermal management component. According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, the safety of the battery can be enhanced.
