摘要: A battery device for providing different electrical voltage levels to be used by different electrical consumer devices, particularly for use in a motor vehicle such as a utility vehicle or a commercial vehicle, includes at least one battery storage unit. Each battery storage unit has a low voltage terminal and a high voltage terminal, wherein one or more battery storage units of the at least one battery storage unit has at least one intermediate voltage terminal which is connected between the low voltage terminal and the high voltage terminal of the respective battery storage unit. Each battery storage unit can include a plurality of battery cells connected in series with each other between the low voltage terminal and the high voltage terminal, wherein each battery cell provides a predetermined voltage, and wherein the at least one intermediate voltage terminal is connected between two adjacent battery cells of the plurality of battery cells.

摘要: A battery device includes a cell assembly; a case accommodating the cell assembly; and at least one venting portion in the case to discharge gas generated from the cell assembly to the outside of the case; wherein the at least one venting portion includes a hole cover surrounded by a first region formed by cutting a surface of the case and a second region connected to a surface of the case, and a sealing member covering the first region, wherein the hole cover is lifted from a surface of the case and comprises a venting hole in the at least one venting portion, and wherein the sealing member seals the first region to prevent gas from flowing through the first region in a state in which the hole cover covers the venting hole.

摘要: A rechargeable battery module includes a holder configured to accommodate battery cells spaced in from each other in a first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction; tabs configured to electrically connect the battery cells to each other, at least one of the tabs having an inner planar portion and an inner lateral portion bent from the inner planar portion and fixed to a side of the holder; and busbars configured to connect the tabs to a battery management system. At least one of the busbars has an outer lateral portion connected to the inner lateral portion of the tab and an outer planar portion bent from the outer lateral portion and spaced from the inner planar portion. The holder includes a rib configured to fix at least one of the inner lateral portion of the tab and the outer lateral portion of the busbar.

The battery pack includes a thermal management system having an inlet plenum assembly disposed at a first end of the battery module, an outlet plenum assembly disposed at a second end of the battery module, and a fluid pump that directs fluid to the inlet plenum assembly via a fluid delivery line and receives fluid from the outlet plenum assembly via a fluid return line.

摘要: Described herein are swappable battery modules comprising immersion-thermally controlled prismatic battery cells and methods of operating thereof. A method comprises positioning a swappable battery module on an external charger comprising charger fluidic ports and sliding the swappable battery module to the charger fluidic ports until these charger's ports are fluidically coupled with the module's fluidic ports. Specifically, the external charger comprises an enclosure and a module support rail slidably coupling the swappable battery module and the enclosure. The module support rail comprises a rail base, a first slider, a second slider, and a lever-based unit, interconnecting the rail base and both sliders. The rail base is fixed to the enclosure, while the second slider is detachably coupled to the module. The two sliders move at different speeds or at the same speed relative to the charger base depending on proximity of the first end plate to the charger base.
