摘要: The present embodiments relate generally to methods and apparatuses for providing supplemental output voltage support in a battery charger. According to certain aspects, to provide supplemental power in a system with a weak battery and high current load, embodiments provide a trigger value to alert the system and a pre-trigger to allow saving current. Some embodiments use current information to predict the need for supplemental mode. These and other embodiments provide prepared biasing for faster response times, and are more precise than monitoring voltage alone. These and other embodiments further preferably provide support for providing supplemental system power while protecting attached external devices.

摘要: An uninterruptible power supply device is basically a device that performs a full-time inverter feeding system using a first semiconductor switch, and when a second semiconductor switch, which is an optional item, is connected in parallel to the first semiconductor switch and a full-time bypass feeding system is selected, serves as a device that performs the full-time bypass feeding system using the second semiconductor switch. This leads to a low device cost compared with the case in which an uninterruptible power supply device employing the full-time inverter feeding system and an uninterruptible power supply device employing the full-time feeding system are designed and manufactured separately.

摘要: A method includes measuring, by at least one processor, a time at which control circuitry sends an instruction to a switch structured to control transmission of electrical power. The method further includes sensing, by at least one sensor, a change in position of the switch in response to the instruction, and determining, by the at least one processor, a delay between the time at which the control circuitry sends the instruction and a time at which the change in position occurs. The method still further includes recording, by the at least one processor, the delay in a delay measurement queue and taking, by the at least one processor, an action with respect to the switch in response to the delay measurement queue.

摘要: A method for synchronizing and connecting a first sub power system with a second sub power system with an intelligent electronic device (IED) by use of at least one switching device between the first sub power system and the second sub power system in an electrical power system is provided. The IED monitors power supply parameters such as voltage magnitude, phase and other derived parameters such as voltage and phase differences in the first sub power system and the second sub power system to identify at least one instance for fast bus transfer where the two sub systems have acceptable differences in magnitude and phase. The IED performs phase shifting and voltage magnitude correction in anticipation for synchronizing power supplies on connection at the identified instance.
