    摘要: The present invention relates to a plurality windings of U phase corresponding to one magnetic pole including first and second windings wound in a short pitch winding manner. The winding starts of the first and second windings are shifted by at least one tooth. The windings are wound so that a winding angle occupied by the windings inter-slot angle from the winding start of the first winding to the winding end of the second winding corresponds to a pole angle. The windings in the V phase are disposed in the same relationship as in the U phase at the position delayed by an electric angle of 120 degrees with respect to the U phase, and those in the W phase are disposed at the position delayed by an additional 120 degrees. The outputs of the windings are then each rectified, subsequently joined together and used by adding currents.

    摘要: An exemplary power system may include an electric machine with multiple sets of stator windings, each set of windings being coupled through a separate switch matrix to a common voltage bus, and each of which may be spatially arranged in full pitch around the stator such that stator flux harmonics are substantially reduced. The reduced stator flux harmonics may be associated with phase current harmonic content. In an example application, such power systems may operate in a generating mode to transfer mechanical energy to electrical energy on a DC voltage bus. In some illustrative embodiments, the power system may provide both high-power and high-speed (e.g., 1 MW at 8000 rpm or above) motoring and/or generating capability suitable, for example, for on-board (e.g., marine, aviation, traction) power systems.

    摘要: The Invention comprises a versatile AC dynamo-electric machine comprising isolated dual stators, each both concentrated windings energizable with single-phase AC, and main windings and a single high inertia sleeve and drive place connected to a rotor shaft. The sleeve contains independent electrical rotors, one for each stator. Each rotor has an innermost layer of magnetizable permanent magnetic material in which the concentrated coils in the stator produce a desired pattern of magnetic poles reacting with the rotating field of the main windings. The machine can function as a synchronous AC motor, or a constant frequency output dual AC generator or as an AC motor-generator with long ride-through time. A UPS system comprises the machine in the motor-generator mode, with clutch means to connect an engine to the rotor shaft to start the engine.
