Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method for an eye-tracking optical verification tester are described herein. In some aspects, a heating element such as a Peltier or Thermoelectric Cooler “TEC” includes a see-through void and may be used to control a temperature of an eye-tracking optical element. An environmental enclosure that is configured to assist in simulation of an environmental condition may hold the eye-tracking optical element. The eye-tracking optical element is to receive reflected light from an eye-tracking target and direct the reflected light to an eye-tracking camera.

Abstract: An image pickup apparatus includes an image sensor, a first circuit board on which the image sensor is mounted, a second circuit board facing the first circuit board, a flexible board that electrically connects the first circuit board and the second circuit board, and a fan. The image sensor moves within a movable range of the image sensor in a direction different from an optical axis direction. The flexible board includes a bent portion that is located closest to a side of the flexible board connected to the first circuit board. The flexible board is bent in an area overlapping the movable range of the image sensor in the optical axis direction. As viewed from the optical axis direction, an inner surface of the bent portion is disposed to be outside a range of a blowing direction of an airflow discharged from a vent of the fan.

Abstract: An image capturing apparatus that realizes both of efficient heat dissipation and size reduction of an image capturing apparatus body. Abstract: An optical unit with rolling correction function is provided and performs rolling correction by fixing a circuit board on which an imaging element is mounted and a heat dissipating member to a rotation member, transmitting heat from the circuit board to the heat dissipating member, and rotating the rotation member. A rotation shaft of a rotation supporting mechanism is fixed to the rotation member via the heat dissipating member. Accordingly, it is possible to dissipate heat by transmitting heat that is generated from the imaging element, from the circuit board to the heat dissipating member, and then transmitting the heat from the heat dissipating member to the rotation shaft. The imaging element and the heat dissipating member overlap with the rotation shaft at an identical position when the imaging element and the heat dissipating member are seen from an optical axis direction.

Abstract: An apparatus for moderating the environment of a driver assist camera comprises (a) a housing in which the driver assist camera is mountable and (b) a bracket configured and dimensioned to receive and retain the housing. The bracket when installed in a vehicle is attached to a window of the vehicle. A thermally conductive body is movably mounted on the bracket. The housing when being received in the bracket contacts and moves the thermally conductive body relative to the bracket so as to press the thermally conductive body against the window and permit heat from the housing to be conducted to the window, thereby moderating the environment of the driver assist camera when mounted in the housing.
