摘要: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and devices for dynamically adjusting a user interface provided by an external unit of a hearing device. In an example method, the external unit determines whether a state of the external unit is one of (i) a coupled state when the external unit and the stimulation unit are coupled or (ii) a decoupled state when the external and the stimulation unit are decoupled. The external unit then provides one of (i) a first user interface when the determined state is the coupled state or (ii) a second user interface when the determined state is the decoupled state. The second user interface provides access to a greater number of functions of the hearing device than first user interface provides.

摘要: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for the detection of human presence in front of a plurality of sensors such as those of speakers and a device with a processor, such as a television. Data gathered from the plurality of sensors may be analyzed by the processor to determine if one or more humans are present proximate to the device. Based on the determined presence or absence of one or more humans, further actions including, inter alia, activating a sleep mode for the one or more humans, shutting off the device in a green mode, or alerting an owner-user to the presence of an intruder can be taken.

摘要: A method of monitoring at least one leak detection sensor, the method including the steps of: determining via a communication hub a first state of a sensor comprising a first condition when the sensor is dry and a second condition when the sensor is wet; determining via the communication hub a second state representing an operability of the sensor; communicating via the communication hub each of the states of the sensor to a Graphical User Interface (GUI); and displaying, via the GUI, a representation of the first and second states of the sensor.

摘要: Presented herein are techniques for dynamically changing how a recipient-associated device (e.g., external component and/or user device linked to an external component) interacts with a user based on whether the external component of a medical device system is coupled to the recipient. In particular, a recipient-associated device in accordance with embodiments presented herein provides a first type of user interaction while the external component is coupled to the recipient, but the recipient-associated device provides a second (and different) type of user interaction when the external component is uncoupled/decoupled from the recipient (e.g., dynamically adjusting a user interface provided by a recipient-associated device based on whether the external component is coupled or decoupled from the recipient).

摘要: According to one embodiment, a reading system includes a calculator and a determiner. The calculator calculates a total value of luminances and fluctuation of the luminances in at least a portion of a second direction at each of a plurality of points in a first direction for at least a portion of an image subjected to a polar transformation. A meter is imaged in the image and includes a pointer, a display panel, and graduations. The pointer rotates around a rotation axis. The graduations are arranged along a circumferential direction around the rotation axis on the display panel. The polar transformation is referenced to a center of the meter. The first direction corresponds to the circumferential direction. The second direction corresponds to a diametrical direction from the center toward the graduations. The determiner uses the total value and the fluctuation to determine a position at which the pointer exists.
