摘要: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for the detection of human presence in front of a plurality of sensors such as those of speakers and a device with a processor, such as a television. Data gathered from the plurality of sensors may be analyzed by the processor to determine if one or more humans are present proximate to the device. Based on the determined presence or absence of one or more humans, further actions including, inter alia, activating a sleep mode for the one or more humans, shutting off the device in a green mode, or alerting an owner-user to the presence of an intruder can be taken.

In some aspects, channel responses based on wireless signals transmitted through a space between wireless communication devices are obtained. 摘要: Sensing devices, systems and methods for securing articles against tampering using a unique magnetic field signature measured at two different times are provided. One or more sensing devices are secured to a ferrous surface portion of a target container. The sensing devices are secured using a plurality of magnets. The unique magnetic field signature sensed by a sensing device is produced by a combination of the plurality of magnets of the sensing device and the ferrous surface portion of the target container and earth's magnetic field. The two different times being one of a baseline measurement session and one of an observation measurement session. An observation measurement session may be triggered by a shock event or periodically.

The pulp structure is a single-layer structure with the microwires fully embedded in said single layer, the microwires having cross-sectional dimensions approximately equal to cross-sectional dimensions of the pulp fibers.

摘要: A security screening apparatus for use in detecting ferromagnetic objects comprises a detector apparatus which comprises a housing that supports at least one magnetic sensor arranged to produce a signal indicative of an ambient magnetic field or gradient over a zone of sensitivity which extends away from the housing, the size of the zone being large enough to contain the whole body of the person, and a signal processing circuit which receives as an input the signal from the magnetic sensor and which, in response to a change in the signal produces an alert signal. A beacon that comprises a light source is able to emit at least two visually distinct colours of light, and a control means controls the light source such that in a first condition in the absence of the alert signal the beacon emits a first colour light and in a second condition corresponding to the presence of the alert signal the beacon emits a second, different, colour of light. The light source is arranged such that the position and/or size and/or shape of the illuminated area of the light source in the first condition is different from the position and/or size and or shape of the illuminated area of the light source in the second condition.
