Abstract:
Methods and apparatus are described. According to a method, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) communicates with a base station using a first base station operating frequency and a set of cell configuration parameters. The WTRU receives information indicating a second base station operating frequency to use for communications with the base station at a given time. The WTRU communicates with the base station using the second base station operating frequency and the same set of cell configuration parameters on or after the given time.
Abstract:
The disclosure is related to controlling an operation bandwidth for a femtocell based on femtocell interference to a macrocell in order to minimize femtocell interference. A femtocell base station may include a measurement unit, a transmitting unit, and a control unit. The measurement unit may be configured to measure an interference amount of a macrocell adjacent to the femtocell base station. The transmitting unit may be configured to transmit the measured interference amount to a system. The control unit may be configured to i) accept an allocated operation bandwidth by the system and ii) control transmission and reception of signals with the allocated operation bandwidth. The operation bandwidth may be adjustable by the system based on the measured interference amount.
Abstract:
There is provided a communication apparatus capable of effectively removing interference waves from a received signal while reducing the computation load. The communication apparatus includes a weight calculating unit. The weight calculating unit includes a calculating unit and a selecting unit. The calculating unit calculates a first weight and a second weight. The first weight is obtained, for a target known signal being an update target, by updating, using the target known signal, a weight of a first another known signal updated immediately before performing an update using the target known signal. The second weight is obtained, for a target known signal being an update target, by updating, using the target known signal, a weight of a second another known signal. The selecting unit selects one of the first weight and the second weight that has a lower estimation error.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a mobile device for facilitating inputting a command to a service application in the mobile device. The mobile device comprises an inertial measurement unit (IMU). The method comprises determining a time interval in which a user of the mobile device will agitate the mobile device in accordance with a command. The method also comprises filtering an information feed from the IMU during said time interval to remove signals which are outside of a predetermined spectrum and thus regarded as noise. The method comprises finding distinguishable signals within the filtered feed, said distinguishable signals forming a command pattern. The method comprises associating the command pattern with the command.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide an interference suppression method and apparatus, which can eliminate interference of a digital circuit with an analog circuit. The method includes: receiving a system clock, where a current frequency of the system clock is a first frequency; and converting the system clock into an optimal clock of a current sensitive frequency band, where the optimal clock and high-order harmonics of the optimal clock do not fall within a receive band of the sensitive frequency band, where the optimal clock is selected, with reference to the sensitive frequency band, from the system clock and at least one planned clock which is determined according to the first frequency, a frequency of the at least one planned clock is a second frequency, and a frequency increment of the second frequency relative to the first frequency is less than or equal to a preset threshold.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention concern a method for mitigating interference between near field communication and an audio stream in a mobile user equipment (1), wherein the method includes a step (S5) of replacing at least part of the interfered audio stream by a sound representative of an interfering near field communication transaction.
Abstract:
A method is disclosed that can be performed in at least one network node which provides wireless communications service for user equipment nodes (UEs). The method includes detecting uplink interference at an interfered network node. Responsive to the uplink interference, an uplink transmission having a defined configuration is initiated from a UE, which is served by a serving network node. The uplink signal is detected using the defined configuration at the interfered network node. The UE is identified responsive to the detected uplink signal as being a contributor to the uplink interference. An uplink transmission by the UE and/or by another UE served by the serving network node is controlled to reduce uplink interference.

Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for reporting a capability of a User Equipment (UE) supporting advanced functions such as Carrier Aggregation (CA) are provided. The method includes checking, when a control message requesting a capability report is received, a Radio Access Technology (RAT) type and transmitting, when the RAT type is set to Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (EUTRA), at least one band combination information on at least one band combination supported by the terminal. The UE capability report method is capable of reporting the UE capability related to advanced functions, such as CA and Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), to a network efficiently with the least amount of information, thereby resulting in an improvement of radio resource efficiency.
