Abstract: A molded tire may include a support structure having an inner circumferential portion and an outer circumferential portion. The inner circumferential portion may be configured to be associated with a hub. The molded tire may also include a tread portion associated with the outer circumferential portion of the support structure, wherein the tread portion may be formed from a first polyurethane having first material characteristics. The support structure may be formed from a second polyurethane having second material characteristics different than the first material characteristics. The support structure may be chemically bonded to the tread portion.

Abstract: An adjustable insert for a tire. A tire includes an annular body of elastomeric material. The annular body may include a plurality of unpressurized cavities. A plurality of adjustable inserts may be arranged in the plurality of unpressurized cavities. The adjustable inserts may have an expandable portion sized to fit in a portion of the unpressurized cavities. The adjustable insert may be configured to adjust a compression of each cavity and modify the deflection rate of the tire.

Abstract: A solid vacuum wheel and tire assembly incorporating a vacuum to adhere a solid tire in place against a wheel rim, allowing for safe and reliable operation. The assembly incorporates a flexible solid tire core which contracts into place after a vacuum is applied, contracting and adhering directly onto the wheel rim and filling a void between the rim and tire, having no air pressure to go flat or release if punctured. Vacuum channels installed along the wheel rim direct a vacuum seal to the tire core. A vacuum valve is installed into a vacuum chamber, which acts as a conduit to direct the vacuum throughout the assembly. The solid tire incorporates a possible concave shaped tire tread configuration, tire tread rubber and a steel belt. The solid tire core material comprising of solid or porous rubber, jell or a combination of each provides a solid flexible non-pneumatic core structure.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composite ball-bouncing tyre, comprising a subtyre and an inner tube inside it, wherein the subtyre includes a space between a ring-shaped base and its side walls, and the space includes a plurality of rails and fastening grooves that are arranged at intervals on its inner walls. A slope part that converges against the rolling-forward direction is established atop on both sides of the plurality of the rails, and at the bottom of the fastening grooves, there is a plurality of fixing grooves. One or more resilient balls are established in each rail and the inner tube includes a plurality of fixing parts on top of outer walls of a base component. When the subtyre and inner tube rolls, the resilient balls will be pushed into the rails along the slope part and be pressed to bounce, thus producing supplementary force to drive the tyre to move forward. Besides, when the inner tube is inflated, its fixing parts can be combined with the fastening grooves of the subtyre, while the inner tube is deflated, it can be disengaged from the subtyre, thus allowing the subtyre or inner tube to be replaced independently.
