摘要： An animal enclosure including a plurality of members defining an interior of the enclosure. One of the plurality of members includes a first member having a frame structure and door assembly formed by a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires. At least two of the horizontal wires of the frame structure form a hook positioned inside the defined opening. The door assembly is coupled to the frame and moves between open and closed positions. The door assembly includes a first door and a second door removably coupled to one another. The enclosure also includes a latch assembly for releasing the door assembly from the frame structure. In the closed position, at least one horizontal wire of the first door and at least one horizontal wire of the second door are coupled to the hooks formed by the at least two horizontal wires of the frame structure.

The base plate is attached to a periphery of the opening of the front cover and has a first end and a second end opposite to each other. A slide groove is formed on the first end, and the slide groove has an oblique wall. The first elastic member is disposed inside the slide groove and stretches in a first direction, and the hook member is slidably coupled to the slide groove. One end of the hook member leans against the first elastic member, and its another end slidably engages with the front cover. The second elastic member is disposed on a side wall of the slide groove and stretches in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction.

The latch apparatus is pivotally mounted to a cover member and includes a pair of latch members and a latch bar connected to and extending between the latch members. The latch members have a receptacle that receives a catch member and an extension that extends away from the latch member opposite the receptacle. The extension engages the cover member when the latch member is moved from a locked position to an unlocked position to prevent injury to a user.

A slide part is carried by the guide part, shiftable relative to the guide part between a closed position restraining the second container portion and an open position releasing the slide part from the second container portion. A guide catch part is integral with said guide part and a slide part including a depressible flap. A slide catch part is integral with said depressible flap. Interaction between said guide catch part and said slide catch part restrains said slide part against movement from said closed position into said open position. Actuating said depressible flap releases said slide catch part from being restrained by said guide catch part and frees the slide part to move from the closed to open position.

摘要： An automatic hidden latch structure includes: a base secured in position to a close side of a door, the base having a positioning plate for positioning and a receiving portion and a block portion disposed at one side of the positioning plate; a transmission mechanism including a lock tongue disposed in and protruding from the receiving portion, a transmission member abutting against the lock tongue, a rotating member driven by the transmission member, and an engaging member engaging with the rotating member and protruding from the receiving portion, a first elastic element insertably engaing the engaging member, and a second elastic element mounted on a joining member of the engaging member and insertably engaging the joining member. Given actuation of the mechanism, a latch post of the automatic hidden latch structure protrudes from the door whenever the lock tongue is pressed upon, thereby locking the door.

摘要： A door lock device for a vehicle includes a latch mechanism having a latch rotatable to pass a half-latch state to a full-latch state, a closer mechanism capable of forcedly turning the latch from the half-latch state to the full-latch state, and an actuator for driving the closer mechanism. A casing forming a part of the latch mechanism is secured to the door so as to turnably support the latch. An extending support part extending in a direction orthogonal to a turning axis of the latch is connectedly provided in the casing. The closer mechanism is adapted to be operated on a plane orthogonal to the turning axis of the latch, and is disposed between the actuator and the extending support part so as to be aligned with the latch mechanism. Thus, it is possible to construct the door lock device to be thin so as to be easily disposed in a door.

摘要： An animal-resistant system for inhibiting access to refuse containers by animals is disclosed. The system comprises at least one latch mechanism, at least one actuation member, at least one shroud member, and a cover defining an opening which permits access to the actuation member. The actuation member communicates with the latch mechanism so as to move the latch mechanism between the latched and unlatched positions. In the latched position, the latch mechanism secures the container lid to the container base, substantially inhibiting access to the container. The access hole and actuation member are dimensioned and positioned on the container in a selected manner so as allow human hands access to the actuation member and unlatch the container while simultaneously inhibiting such access by animals. The shrouds are further configured to inhibit forcible entry into the container when the system is latched.

摘要： An apparatus and method for enhancing the security of a cluster box unit which includes a protective enclosure, internal cabinetry, door, hinge and locking system. The cluster box unit may also include outgoing mail compartment doors that are heavily constructed and rigidly reinforced, with the locks carried thereon protectively shielded, and with the extensible bolts of these locks being engaged by brackets that not only lock the outgoing mail compartment doors but also the master loading doors of the cluster box units. The cluster box unit may also include master loading doors are provided with hinges that extend the full height of the doors—hinges that are defined by pivotally interfitting elements of extrusions that very sturdily mount the master loading doors, that prevent prying or bending the doors in the vicinities of their hinges. The interfitting elements of the hinge extrusions also permit the doors to be installed on their surrounding door frames quickly and easily, and permit one or both of the master loading doors to be quickly and easily removed for service or replacement when necessary.
