摘要： Disclosed herein is a lock comprising a movably housed shackle stop, a shackle that is movably mounted and a shackle stop receiver for receiving the shackle stop to immobilise the shackle. The lock includes a shackle stop actuator is pivotable around a laterally orientated pivot axis and comprises a lateral cam surface configured to outwardly move the shackle stop into receipt by the shackle stop receiver. The lock includes a body configured to simultaneously receive a plurality of cylinder locks for actuation of the shackle stop actuator by any one of the plurality of cylinder locks.

摘要： An apparatus and method for enhancing the security of a cluster box unit which includes a protective enclosure, internal cabinetry, door, hinge and locking system. The cluster box unit may also include outgoing mail compartment doors that are heavily constructed and rigidly reinforced, with the locks carried thereon protectively shielded, and with the extensible bolts of these locks being engaged by brackets that not only lock the outgoing mail compartment doors but also the master loading doors of the cluster box units. The cluster box unit may also include master loading doors are provided with hinges that extend the full height of the doors—hinges that are defined by pivotally interfitting elements of extrusions that very sturdily mount the master loading doors, that prevent prying or bending the doors in the vicinities of their hinges. The interfitting elements of the hinge extrusions also permit the doors to be installed on their surrounding door frames quickly and easily, and permit one or both of the master loading doors to be quickly and easily removed for service or replacement when necessary.

The keyed cylinder assembly further includes a first key (4) insertable into a keyway (323) of the cylinder plug (32) to operate both a latch bolt (12) and a deadbolt (13) of the door lock (1). The keyed cylinder assembly (10) further includes a second key (5) insertable into the keyway (323) of the cylinder plug (32) to operate the latch bolt (12) only.

In the lock body, the locking unit is changeable between a locking position for locking the first and second ends of the shackle in the first and second lock holes, a first unlocking position for allowing the first end of the shackle to be removed from the first lock hole and a second unlocking position for allowing the second end of the shackle to be removed from the second lock hole.

摘要： A strap lock includes a buckle lock and a strap. The buckle lock includes a male fastener, a female fastener, a key locking mechanism and an indicator. The male fastener is connected to one end of the strap. The female fastener is connected to the other end of the strap and detachably connected to the male fastener. The key locking mechanism is disposed on the female fastener and includes a core shaft having a key hole which is capable of receiving either one of a first key and a second key; the core shaft can be driven by either one of the first key and the second key to lock or release the male fastener from the female fastener. The indicator is movably disposed on the female fastener. In particular, the indicator moves to a displaying position when the key hole of the core shaft is inserted by the first key. Besides, the indicator can be restored to its original position via the second key.

摘要： What is disclosed herein is an identification apparatus and method comprising an array of retractable pins in association with a housing attached to a base component through which each pin individually passes. The apparatus is attached to a primary device and in communication therewith. Each retractable pin is in individual physical contact with spring tension means positioned below the pin and located in a containment sleeve within the housing. Each spring continuously exerts pressure on the base of their respective pins so as to push the pin up through the base component. At the base of each spring is a pressure sensitive pad in communication with the primary device. A set of shaped identifiers is also disclosed each having a plurality of holes through which respective pins on the array of retractable pins pass and each identifier uniquely configured with at least one distinct location containing a plug or nullcapnull fitted therein which blocks the passage therethrough of that particular pin thereby forcing said pin to retract into the base component's housing underneath and exerting pressure on the pin's associated spring. Means for alignment and orientation are also disclosed. Once one or more identifiers have been fitted onto the array of retractable pins, the primary device thereafter identifies the placed identifiers by each identifier's plug location and by the amount of pressure exerted by each spring's pressure sensitive pad. Once individual identifiers are known, the primary device can subsequently perform certain functions or other desired operations based on the type, configuration, and/or number of identifiers placed thereon.

A first lock (30) and a second lock (40) are mounted on a free end of the handle (15) and the holder (10), respectively, and adjacent to each other, and are provided with a first movable locking element (32) and a second movable locking element (42), respectively. When these locking elements (32, 42) are engaged with each other, the handle (15) is locked. When they (32, 42) are disengaged, the handle (15) is unlocked.

摘要： An electromechanical lock system has a lock cylinder including a body, a rotatable core forming a key passage, and carrying at least one magnet, tumblers engageable between the core and the body and shiftable between positions blocking rotation of the core in the body and freeing positions permitting such rotation, a sensor juxtaposable with the magnet in an angular position of the core in the body, anda coupling member juxtaposed with an inner end of the core, forming an inner extension of the passage, and rotatable in the body independently of the core. A mechanically operable element is coupled mechanically to the coupling member and an electrically operable element is coupled electrically to the sensor. A long key engageable in the passage has a bitting fittable with the tumblers to set same in the freeing positions and is of a length sufficient to reach into the coupling member so that insertion of the long key fully into the passage and subsequent rotation of the key turns the core and the coupling member to operate both the mechanical and electrical elements. A short key engageable in the passage has a bitting fittable with the tumblers to set same in the freeing positions and is of a length insufficient to reach into the coupling member so that insertion of the short key fully into the passage and subsequent rotation of the key turns only the core to operate only the electrical element while not operating the mechanical element.

摘要： A multiple access locking device is provided which is capable of being opened by any different number of users. The device includes first and second receptacle members and an elongate locking bar which, when removed from the receptacle members, allows the receptacle members to be moved relative to each other. The first receptacle member includes a tab with an opening therein and the elongate locking bar includes a similar tab with an opening. A plurality of coupling segments are placed on the locking bar between the tabs of the first receptacle member and locking bar. The coupling segments are identically configured and define a pair of radially extending tabs each having an opening for receiving a lock. Accordingly, a plurality of locks is placed through the respective openings and any one lock can unlock the multiple access device.
