摘要： The present invention provides a internal pipe joints suitable for connection when pipes used under light-load conditions, or to be more concrete, plastic coated steel pipes having an external diameter ranging from about 28 mm to about 45 mm, which are produced by coating the outer surfaces of thin steel pipes with synthetic resin in a thin layer, are assembled into a planar or three-dimensional pipe structure, and more specifically, relates to pipe joints that have high strength in pipe connection and is excellent in design for having a simple appearance design in the position connecting the pipes.The present invention comprises a joint body in which one or more connecting inset portions extending from the joint body and each inserted in an internal bore of a corresponding pipe to be connected are each formed to have a hollow structure, a plurality of long slit-like splits are formed in each of the connecting inset portions in a circumferential direction to axially extend from an end of the corresponding connecting inset portion, and the connecting inset portion is further provided in a hollow interior thereof with a tapered portion having an internal diameter decreasing from the end thereof toward the joint body; a tapered sleeve to be inserted in the hollow interior of the connecting inset portion; and a stop bolt having a conical portion in an end portion thereof.

摘要： A bed frame section comprising a pair of telescoping members adapted to be connected or utilized within a bed frame structure. At least one adjustable leg connector is mounted on one of the members. The leg connector includes a generally inverted U-shaped strap that extends over the member and an extension that extends downwardly from the U-shaped strap and includes an opening for receiving an upper portion of a leg. The upper portion of a leg is inserted into the opening of the extension, and the leg and extension are secured together by a bolt and nut assembly. By tightening the bolt the inverted U-shaped strap is closed around the member. When the bolt assembly assumes a loosened state, the inverted U-shaped strap along with the attached leg can be moved along the length of the member.

摘要： A shock cell for a bumper fending off vehicles traveling adjacent a fixed structure is provided wherein an outer cylinder extends horizontally from the structure. An inner cylinder coupled to the bumper extends into the open end of the outer cylinder. An annular rubber cylinder is bonded to the inner surface of the outer cylinder and to the outer surface of the inner cylinder for a distance of the order of the diameter of the inner cylinder and with the outer and inner ends having truncated surfaces conical with reference to apexes outside the outer cylinder and inside said inner cylinder respectively. A shearable stop plate is secured inside the outer cylinder spaced inwardly from the end of the inner cylinder a distance slightly greater than the thickness of the annular body.

The shaft extends through a hole 15 in a second arm 11, receives a shouldered sleeve 16 having a squared opening which fits over the squared portion 13'', and is topped by a nut 17. The height of the central bushing portion of the sleeve is greater than the thickness of the second arm extension defining the hole 15 to implement free rotation without any torque moments tending to unscrew the nut. The sleeve may be deformable and expanded into the hole by tightening the nut to adjust the hinge friction. Abutment shoulders 20, 22 may be provided to retain the arms in a given position when frictionally engaged.
