摘要: A biomass granulator comprises a granulation chamber having a feed inlet and a discharge outlet and divided into a primary molding chamber, inside with a pressing wheel mechanism comprising a wheel seat having at least two symmetrical eccentric pressing rollers, and a secondary molding chamber, surrounding the outside of the primary one, by a ring-shaped die; the rollers are disposed with threads on the surface and a guide groove between adjacent threads; the die is provided outside with several scrapers taking the axis of the main shaft as the rotation axis, and the contact point of the roller and the is always between adjacent scrapers. The invention allows the primarily molded particles extruded from the die to be subjected to an orderly, quantitative and uniform reformation via a rotating scraper, and timely delivery of the finally molded particles out of the biomass granulator, thus solving the technical problems herein.

摘要: A dry-granulation method for producing a tablet comprising (a) pharmaceutical active ingredient in an amount 50-90% w/w and (b) one or more excipients in an amount 10-50% w/w including at least a binder which comprises (i) preparing granules from a powder comprising a binder, a pharmaceutically active ingredient and optionally one or more other excipients or pharmaceutical active ingredients by a process characterized in that a compaction force is applied to the powder to produce a compacted mass comprising a mixture of fine particles and granules and separating and removing fine particles and/or small granules from the granules by entraining the fine particles and/or small granules in a gas stream in which the compacted mass flows, wherein the direction of the flow of the gas stream has a component which is contrary to that of the direction of flow of the compacted mass, and collecting the accepted granules (ii) blending the accepted granules with other components of the tablet in granular or fine powder form wherein in step (ii) at least one other component of the tablet formulation is in granular form and is prepared from a powder comprising said other component by a process characterized in that a compaction force is applied to the powder to produce a compacted mass comprising a mixture of fine particles and granules and separating and removing fine particles and/or small granules from the granules by entraining the fine particles and/or small granules in a gas stream in which the compacted mass flows, wherein the direction of the flow of the gas stream has a component which is contrary to that of the direction of flow of the compacted mass; and (iii) compressing the resultant blend to form a tablet; with the proviso that the tablet does not comprise (a) paracetamol, maize starch and microcrystalline cellulose in a ratio of 60:20:20 w/w, (b) acebutolol HCl and starch in a ratio of 90:10 w/w, (c) sodium valproate, hypromellose and maize starch in a ratio of 90:5:5 w/w, (d) ketoprofen and maize starch in a ratio of 50:50 w/w or (e) metformin HCl, microcrystalline cellulose and maize starch in a ratio of 80:14:6 w/w.

摘要: Process of press-granulating non-ductile salts and salt mixtures, such as kieserite (MgSO4.H2O), langbeinite (K2SO4.2MgSO4), polyhalide (K2SO4.MgSO42CaSO4.2H2O), arcanite (K2SO4) and anhydrite (CaSO4) for preparing stable, storable granulate, by pressing a mixture of fine grains of salt and a viscous, sugar-containing additive, such as molasses having a total sugar content in the dry matter of from 47 to 55%, by roller pressing at pressures up to 260 bar. The press scraps initially obtained, which are ductile, are solidified by maturing of the material at temperatures between 20 and 40° C. and maturing times of 3 to 8 hours prior to crushing them in impact mills and sieving.

The tooth root region has an outer diameter that is smaller than the outer diameter of the tooth tip region. The tooth tip region of the squeeze roller has three crushing zones including a middle crushing zone, which define different distances from the cylindrical pressure roller with a minimum distance in the region of the middle crushing zone, and the contour of the tooth flanks and the tooth root region of the crush roller in cooperation with the contour of the cylindrical pressure roller defines a maximum cross-section of granulate cushions to be formed.
