摘要: Activated carbons with high surface areas are produced from a synergistic activation effect triggered at high temperatures by a predetermined combination of chemical activation agents derived from weak acidic salts, and/or weak basic salts, and/or neutral salts, and/or compounds. In one embodiment, a method of the present invention comprises mixing a carbon precursor with a first component comprising a first salt and at least one second component selected from the group consisting of a second salt, a compound and combinations thereof, in an inert environment or in carbon dioxide and/or steam environment.

摘要: [Object] To provide a method for efficiently producing a water-absorbing agent having excellent physical properties.[Solution] The method for producing a water-absorbing agent includes a drying step of drying a particulate crosslinked hydrogel polymer containing a drying aid. The drying aid is (a) a compound having a betaine structure and having a long-chain alkyl group having 8 or more carbon atoms, one quaternary nitrogen, and one acid group within a molecule thereof and/or (b) a compound having a long-chain alkyl group having 8 or more carbon atoms, one tertiary nitrogen, and one or more acid groups within a molecule thereof. An addition amount of the drying aid with respect to a gel solid content of the particulate crosslinked hydrogel polymer is 0.001% by mass to 0.5% by mass. In this production method, surface-crosslinking is performed on water-absorbent resin powder obtained through the drying step.

The process includes leading water laden with microorganisms and arsenic through an arsenic adsorption media followed by treating the resultant arsenic deficient water with a disinfectant releasing system to obtain water deficient of arsenic and viable microorganisms. The present disclosure also provides an apparatus for the purification of water using the afore-stated process.

摘要: The present invention relates to a mercury-containing wastewater treatment technology field, in particular to an attapulgite-crosslinked chitosan composite adsorbent and its solid-phase synthetic method. The attapulgite-crosslinked chitosan composite mercury adsorbent in the invention is synthesized by the method of adding chitosan and glutaraldehyde in batches. In consideration of the limited solubility of chitosan, batch addition can not only dissolve chitosan, but also minimize the use of organic acid, resulting in less discharge of wastewater and waste gas, which is suitable for large-scale industrial production. The prepared mercury adsorbent can be applied to the removal of mercury ions in the wastewater owing to the excellent adsorptive property and regeneration performance. Meanwhile, the solid-phase synthetic procedure for preparing the mercury adsorbent is simple, easy to handle and environmental-friendly. Moreover, the product cost is greatly reduced due to the use of attapulgite.
