    摘要: The invention relates to a device for use in large-scale industrial insect farming. More in particular, the invention relates to an insects transport device for transporting live insects from a first location to a predetermined second location, the insects transport device comprising a gas guiding unit, a gas discharge member and a feeder arrangement, wherein the insects transport device is configured to receive live insects such as freshly hatched neonate larvae, for example of black soldier fly, or mites, wherein the live insects are directly taken up in a laminar flow of gas after exiting the feeder arrangement in a free fall under influence of gravitation such that the live insects do not contact any surface of the insects transport device, and while in said gas are transported to a predetermined location in the insects transport device. Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of the device in industrial insect farming, such as large-scale farming of black soldier flies or mites. The invention also relates to a method of dosing live insects, wherein for example live insects are dosed which are essentially of the same age (e.g. within an age difference of 1 second-5 minutes), such as freshly hatched neonate larvae. In addition, the invention relates to a single dose of neonate larvae obtained with the method, wherein larvae have a small larvae-to-larvae age difference within the single dose.

The dilution nozzle (4) points outwards to create a crossing outward flow of dilution fluid across an annular space (5) around the dilution arrangement (3) to slow circulating fluid flowing down from a cone (2) of the centrifugal cleaner to the reject chamber (1). The dilution arrangement (3) may have a clearing nozzle (6), directed against the reject outlet (7). The dilution nozzle (4) may be pointed below the bottom end (9) of the cone (2) and the dilution arrangement (3) may not extend higher than the bottom end of the cone.

    摘要: A device for separating particles from a liquid to be treated is disclosed. The device has a cylindrical enclosure with an inlet for creating a swirling flow at its upper end and an annular channel formed by a flow diverter plate leading to a retention chamber at its base. The flow diverter generates an ascending swirling flow of treated liquid which is discharged through an axial outlet tube in the uppermost portion of the enclosure. The flow diverter includes at least one plane central section and means for adjusting its longitudinal position to adjust the annular channel. The axial outlet tube is extended downwardly by a flow adjusting element to create a flow of annular section.

    摘要: A cyclone separator for a solids-laden process gas from a reactor also provides a pressure seal for the reactor. The cyclone includes a main housing with a longitudinal axis. The housing is made of a membrane wall construction having a plurality of tubes arranged around the axis and encased within membrane wall panels. A portion of the tubes are bent outwardly to form an inlet which communicates with the main housing for receiving the solids-laden process gas from the boiler. Solids are separated from the solids-laden process gas as they swirl together in the main housing of the cyclone separator. A partition wall is disposed at the lower section of the main housing around the longitudinal axis for defining an outer chamber and an inner chamber adjacent to the outer chamber. Gas is provided to the outer and inner chambers for creating fluidized beds of the solids in the outer and inner chambers. Solids are passed from the inner chamber to the outer chamber through an underflow port in the partition wall. Solids exit the main housing from an overflow port which communicates with the reactor.

    摘要: This application discloses an apparatus for separating entrained liquids and solids from a gaseous stream containing entrained liquids and solids. The apparatus is described as a conical tubular envelope partitioned into a de-entrainment chamber and settling chamber by an apertured diaphragm or baffle plate. The gaseous stream tangentially enters the de-entrainment chamber wherein liquids and solids are centrifugally seapatated. The deentrained liquids and solids pass through the apertured diaphragm into the settling chamber, while gaseous components leave through an outlet in the de-entrainment chamber. The apparatus is particularly effective in removing entrained cooking liquids and woodpulp from the wet gaseous effluent of a woodpulp digester.
