    摘要: A cutting tool, especially a plane blade head or plane blade shaft, includes a supporting body (1) having at least one recess (3) which is open radially to the outside, a wedge shaped clamping jaw (4) housed in the recess (3) and a blade (6) which can be fixed in its seat by means of the clamping jaw (4). For positioning the blade (6) the clamping jaw (4) is pretensioned by a compression spring (13), and for removing the blade (6) the clamping jaw (4) can be displaced radially inwards against the force of the compression spring (13), whereby the clamping jaw (4) automatically self-locks in its radial inner position. The arrangement permits the automatic self-locking of the clamping jaw (4) by providing for a spring-loaded bolt (7) which engages a recess (22) provided for in the clamping jaw (4).

    摘要: A clamping mechanism is provided for clamping a cutting die to the die holder of a rotary cutting assembly used to cut a pattern in an envelope blank or the like. The clamping mechanism is adapted to fit within and cooperate with a groove of the die holder to clamp at least one of the ends of the cutting die therebetween for securing the cutting die to the holder. One embodiment of the clamping mechanism comprises a clamping bar and a position adjustment assembly for adjusting the vertical position of the clamping bar in the groove so as to accommodate different size cutting dies. Another embodiment of the clamping mechanism comprises a clamping bar which pivotably engages a slot disposed in the die holder.

    摘要: An on-demand exact registration form web perforating apparatus is simple yet effective, and can operate at high speed and has a long life. A form web is moved in a predetermined path past first and second rotatable continuous circumferential perforator wheels mounted on substantially stationary axes and spaced from each other along the predetermined path and in alignment with each other along the path. First and second anvil cylinders are spaced from each other along the path for cooperation with the wheels, each cylinder having an interrupted circumference including a raised portion and a depressed portion, and a movable axis about which the cylinder rotates. The cylinders are rotated about the axes synchronously with the web movement, and the cylinders may be selectively moved toward and away from the perforator wheels from a first position in which the entire circumference of each anvil cylinder is spaced from the web and does not cooperate with a perforator wheel, to a second position in which the anvil cylinder circumferential raised portion may engage the web and cooperate with a perforator wheel to effect perforation. Typically the form web comprises a plurality of business forms.

An eccentric lever and a spring are used to actuate and reverse the direction of the drum, in which the upper part of the housing includes two flanges capable of accommodating a reel of paper towel. The drum and the tensioning device are secured between flanges located at right angles to the rear plane of the housing. The apparatus includes a device for controlling the rotation of the drum, fitted with a shaped lever hinged at its base in opposition to an elastic return spring, the upper part of the lever being fitted with a support shaft, supporting a pair of freely rotatable pulleys. A first pulley is associated through a drive belt with the drum and tensioning device before the paper is cut, and a second pulley is arranged so as to come into contact with the rear of the reel of material.

    摘要: Laminated elements, which may be constituted, for example, by labels to be applied to articles while in movement, are formed from a strip provided by a feeding device. The strip moves forward onto a reception unit, passing through a cutting zone. The individual laminated elements are formed by causing the cutting unit to come into action when the length of the strip paid out by the feeding unit is equal to the desired length of the labels. The cutting unit preferably includes a revolving knife and a counterknife, where the latter consists of a non-driven roller supported in a cradle that is lubricated and exerts an elastic force against the cutting unit. Preferably, the reception unit realizes the step of applying the individual laminated elements to their respective articles.
