摘要: A saw tooth includes a body, a plurality of petals, and a plurality of inserts. The body has a forward surface defining a perimeter, a rearward surface, and, a plurality of sides extending between the forward and rearward surfaces. Each petal has a forward surface and a rearward surface, and the rearward surface defines a perimeter. The petal is coupled to the forward surface of the body. The perimeter of the rearward surface of the petal does not extend outwardly beyond the perimeter of the forward surface of the body. Each insert is positioned between two of the petals, is coupled to the body, and has an outer side. The outer side of the insert extends outwardly beyond a corresponding side of the body.

摘要: A saw tooth for mounting onto a holder of a circular saw or of a mower drum is provided. The tooth has a mounting end for mounting against a component of the holder, a cutting end, opposite to the mounting end, the cutting end being provided with at least one cutting edge; and a plurality of sides extending from the mounting end to the cutting end. The plurality of sides include at least one holder side operatively mountable against the holder and at least one outer side opposite to the holder side the outer side being non-linear, diverging from the mounting end to the cutting end and having a contour slope which increases from the mounting end to the cutting end. The tooth thereby provides a greater clearance at its mounting end, and a greater kerf at its cutting end.

摘要: An insertable tooth for wood-cutting apparatus features a blade with a front surface having side edges extending parallel to a radius of a disc in which the tooth is inserted and positioned ahead of the rest of the blade so that the front surface side edges lead the tooth as the disc rotates in a predetermined direction. The cutting edge of the blade extends along the most radially outward extent of a region connecting the two front surface side edges and being positioned rearwardly therefrom. A top surface and the front surface each feature two side faces disposed on opposite sides of a planar central face. On the top surface, each side face extends radially inwardly from a top surface side edge to the central face. On the front surface, each side face extends rearwardly away from one of the front surface side edges to the central face.

摘要: A scribe method for a brittle material substrate is a method in which a plurality of scribe lines are formed in directions intersecting with one another in a surface of the brittle material substrate, wherein at least one scribe line in a first direction is formed by a scribe means generating a high-penetration vertical crack in the brittle material substrate by applying impacts of a short period to the point on the surface of the brittle material substrate. After this, at least one scribe line of a second direction in a direction intersecting with the at least one scribe line of the first direction is formed with the scribe means by scribing without producing intersections with the scribe lines of the first direction.

摘要: Wood-cutting apparatus with an insertable tooth in which the blade is positioned radially outwardly on a flat, elongated metallic plate and comprises two side edges, each of which: (a) extends generally radially (i.e parallel to a radius of the disc in which the tooth is inserted); and (b) is positioned ahead of the plate and other portions of the blade so that the side edges lead the tooth as the disc rotates in a predetermined rotational direction. The cutting edge of the blade extends along the most radially outward extent of a region of the blade connecting the two side edges, the connecting region being positioned rearwardly from those side edges in the rotational direction.

Each alternate tooth (32) of a first set of alternating teeth has mounted thereon a carbide tip (36) with a cutting point (60) on the right side of the blade (20). Each of the remaining teeth (32) form a second set of alternating teeth and has mounted thereon a carbide tip (38) with a cutting point 72 on the left side of the blade (20). Each of the carbide tips (36) and (38) is formed with a converse front face (42), top bevel angle, side clearance angles and a front bevel angle.

摘要: A saw tool, especially a circular saw blade, an endless saw blade, a mill saw blade or the like, with a blade-shaped tool body having detachably connected thereto at least one cutting member with a clamping element between two tensioning surfaces of the tool body. The saw tool is characterized primarily in that for purposes of obtaining the full tensioning and engaging effect of the cutting member and clamping element during a change in position of the clamping and engaging surfaces caused by the clamping deformation, the clamping element includes floating bearing means. The clamping element is an eccentric peripherally having a smaller radius of curvature than corresponding inner surfacing of a recess of an intermediate piece therewith. The intermediate piece for pivotal support at the eccentric is located with play in the recess of the tool body.
