摘要: The disclosure provides system, computer readable medium, and method for producing a hydroxyl radical. A plasma of a plasma gas is formed, via a controller, using a remote plasma source fluidly coupled to a gas inlet conduit coupled to a first nozzle of a processing chamber. A first gas radical is produced by flowing a first gas from a first gas source through the remote plasma source. The first gas radical is introduced into the processing chamber using the gas inlet conduit coupled to the first nozzle. A second gas from a second gas source is introduced using a plurality of second nozzles fluidly of the processing chamber. An oxidation radical is produced by mixing the first gas radical and the second gas in the processing chamber.

摘要: Provided is a method for continuously producing a silicon nitride sintered compact for enabling a continuous production of silicon nitride sintered compacts by sintering using a silicon nitride powder having a high β-phase rate. A fired compact 1 housed in a firing jig 2 contains a silicon nitride powder having at least 80% of β-transition rate and 7 to 20 m2/g of specific surface area together with a sintering additive, where the total content of aluminum element is adjusted not to exceed 800 ppm. The firing jig 2 is supplied into a continuous firing furnace equipped with a closed-type firing container 5 having at its end portions a supplying openable door 3 and a discharging openable door 4 for supplying and discharging the firing jig, a heating mechanism 6 provided on the body periphery of the firing container 5, a conveyance mechanism for supplying/discharging the firing jig into/from the firing container, and a gas-supplying mechanism for supplying an inert gas into the firing container, so that the silicon nitride is heated to a temperature in the range of 1200 to 1800° C. in an inert gas atmosphere and at a pressure of not less than 0 MPa·G and less than 0.1 MPa·G so as to be sintered.

The silicon nitride ceramic sintered body has a content of a silicon nitride crystalline phase of not less than 98 wt %, a relative density of not less than 99%, a porosity of not larger than 1%, a grain boundary phase including Li, O, N, and Si elements, and a total content of C, F, Al, Mg, K, Ca, Na and rare-earth metals elements of less than 0.1 wt %.

摘要: To provide: a silicon nitride sintered body having excellent mechanical property, in particular fracture toughness, and having long lifetime of a product into which the silicon nitride sintered body is processed; a rolling element using the silicon nitride sintered body; and a bearing. The silicon nitride sintered body contains a rare earth element and an aluminum element. The silicon nitride sintered body contains 6-13 wt % of the rare earth element in terms of oxide, and 6-13 wt % of the aluminum element in terms of oxide, relative to the total weight of the silicon nitride sintered body. The silicon nitride sintered body contains an inclusion (I) in a surface layer portion that is a region within 2 mm from a surface of the silicon nitride sintered body. A ratio of a total sectional area of the inclusion (I) to a total sectional area of the surface layer portion is 0.05% or more.

摘要: The invention relates in a first aspect to a process for preparing a 3-dimensional body, in particular a vitreous or ceramic body, which comprises at least the following steps: a) providing an electrostatically stabilized suspension of particles; b) effecting a local destabilization of the suspension of particles by means of a localized electrical discharge between a charge injector and the suspension at a predetermined position and causing an aggregation and precipitation of the particles at said position; c) repeating step b) at different positions and causing the formation of larger aggregates until a final aggregate of particles representing a (porous) 3-dimensional body (green body) having predetermined dimensions has been formed; wherein the charge injector includes i) at least one discharge electrode which does not contact said suspension of particles or ii) a source of charged particles. A second aspect of the invention relates to a device, in particular for performing the above process, comprising at least the following components: —a vessel for receiving an electrostatically stabilized suspension of particles, —a charge injector, in particular including one or more electrodes or a source of high-energy charged particles, —means for moving the electrode and/or the vessel in the x, y and z directions, —a counter electrode arranged in the vessel for a contact with the suspension of particles, —one or more sensors for determining geometrical and physical parameters within said vessel. In one preferred embodiment, said device further comprises a means for directing a beam of gas-ionizing radiation, in particular a laser beam, to a predetermined position within the vessel.
