摘要: A railway traction vehicle, in particular a locomotive, is provided for pulling at least one coupleable railway car, which may be a two-level car, having a car body with a car roof which defines a car height. The locomotive includes a vehicle body with a vehicle roof which defines a vehicle height. If the vehicle height is lower than the car height, a roof transition element is disposed on a rear-side end region of the vehicle body. Since the cross-sectional profile of the roof transition element expands from the front edge, which follows a contour line of the vehicle roof, to the rear edge, which follows a contour line of the car roof, the flow resistance in the transition region from the locomotive to the subsequent two-level car is reduced in a simple way, so that traction energy losses and vehicle noise can be reduced.

摘要: A grating for a support structure includes a piece of metal including a perimeter edge and a surface bound by the perimeter edge. The piece of metal defines an array of uniform surface modifications on the surface of the piece of metal. The uniform surface modifications are arranged in a repeated pattern across the surface. The repeated pattern of uniform surface modifications is consistent across the surface but for at least a pair of spaced apart areas of inconsistency where the uniform surface modifications are not formed in the surface. Each area of inconsistency is surrounded on all sides by the array of uniform surface modifications. The pair of areas of inconsistency provides an indication of where to attach a structure to the grating.

摘要: A vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle, has cladding modules for cladding a body shell-side vehicle lateral wall and/or vehicle roof. The cladding modules, or at least a majority of the cladding modules of the vehicle, either have a first width or a second width which is smaller than the first width, and the difference between the first and second width corresponds to half of the width of at least one partition module which is mounted in the vehicle and which is mounted between two of the cladding modules or is arranged on an interface between two directly adjacent cladding modules, in particular the partition module is placed in front of the interface when seen in the vehicle transverse direction and covers the interface.

摘要: A renewal method of an air-conditioning unit for vehicle in which an air-conditioning unit using a former refrigerant disposed in a frame mounted on a vehicle is renewed to an air-conditioning unit using an alternative refrigerant, the renewal method including a removal step of: a removing the existing air-conditioning unit from the frame; an assembly step of disposing the new air-conditioning unit, which is configured so as to be capable of fitting in the frame, in the frame; and a filling step of filling the alternative refrigerant into the new air-conditioning unit. The circulating amount of refrigerant in the new air-conditioning unit is increased so as to be larger than that in the previous air-conditioning unit, and the heat exchange capacity per unit volume of each of the indoor heat exchanger and the outdoor heat exchanger is made larger than that before the renewal.

摘要: A ventilation system for a passenger transit vehicle that comprises a passenger compartment. The ventilation system comprises a variable speed fan for providing outside air to the passenger compartment, wherein within a given ambient temperature range, the speed of the variable speed fan is controlled such that the air speed produced by the variable speed fan increases with increasing ambient temperature. The ventilation system further comprises a duct system fluidly connecting the variable speed fan to an air diffuser that directs the air from the variable speed fan towards the passengers within the passenger compartment. The cross sectional area of the duct system decreases along its length for providing substantially constant air pressure along its length. The ventilation system is able to provide outside air into the passenger compartment at an air flow speed of greater than 0.15 m/s.

摘要: In the interior equipment installation structure for a railcar according to the present invention, a first installation member is mounted to a roof body shell along the car longitudinal direction or the car width direction. Second installation members are attached to the first installation member using mechanical fastening tools such as bolts with the positions of the second installation members adjusted in the up-down direction of the car. The second installation members are used for installing lighting appliances such as fluorescent lights, each has a size corresponding to each of the lighting appliances, and are continuously installed. There are portions in which plate members are overlapped with each other between respective adjacent ones of the second installation members, and hand strap receivers are installed in these portions.

摘要: There is provided a roof for a vehicle where each one of its right and left side wall has at least a first and a second door opening. The roof structure comprises a lattice structure and an outer shell. The lattice structure has two pairs of longitudinal segments adapted to be located at a top portion of the first and second door openings and two diagonal segments. One diagonal segment extends from a first longitudinal segment adapted to be located at the first door opening in the right wall to a second longitudinal segment adapted to be located at the second door opening in the opposite wall. The other diagonal segment extends from a first longitudinal segment adapted to be located at the first door opening in the left wall to a second longitudinal segment adapted to be located at the second door opening in the opposite wall. The outer shell is placed atop the lattice structure and extends from a region proximate the front end to a region proximate the rear end of the vehicle.
