摘要: An arrangement for optically capturing a railroad track includes a carrier device, a camera, and two light sources. The arrangement is mountable on a carrier vehicle that is movable on rails. The alignment of the two light sources and thus the central axes of the emitted light radiation or waves enclose an acute angle with a longitudinal axis of the rail. The light sources are coupled with the camera via control signal lines. The triggering or activation of the light sources is effected via the control signal lines by a predefined control signal. This achieves detailed, sharp image contours that allow high-precision image evaluation and object recognition at the highest possible working speed.

摘要: System, methods, and machine-readable media to facilitate monitoring and control of a railway maintenance assembly are disclosed. A railway workhead component monitor may be adapted to be disposed at a railway maintenance assembly. The railway workhead component monitor may be configured to perform one or a combination of the following. One or more conditions of at least a portion of the railway maintenance assembly may be monitored. Based at least in part on the monitoring, a plurality of monitoring data corresponding to operations of the railway maintenance assembly may be stored. Reporting data may be generated based at least in part on the stored plurality of monitoring data. A wireless communication may be transmitted toward a railway device controller that is remote from the railway maintenance assembly, the wireless communication including the reporting data.

摘要: A portable, single-fixation, magnetic derailment mitigation device may be fixed on a rail track for measuring the deflection of the rail track. The magnetically fixing device is used for measuring vertical track deflection (sleeper voids), horizontal track deflection, ambient and rail temperature, rail angle, vibration, displacement, and location. The derailment mitigation device sends digital notifications and/or alarms during the live train and/or freight operations to help prevent derailments, rail buckles, breaks, and pull apart. The measured data and/or all events obtained from the derailment mitigation device is stored in the data storage such as cloud storage and viewed from any smart devices.

摘要: A train jolt determination system includes: a portable terminal capable of being held in a train and configured to acquire position information on the train, detect the acceleration of the train, and capture an image of the scene around the train; a storage section configured to associate the position information, acceleration information indicative of a detection result of the acceleration, and image information indicative of the scene and store the position information, the acceleration information, and the image information; and a jolt amount calculation section configured to calculate an amount of jolting of the body based on the acceleration information. In a case where the body is determined to have jolted based on the amount of jolting, position information associated with acceleration information used for the determination of jolting is supplemented with image information associated with the acceleration information, and a position where the body has jolted is estimated.

摘要: A track condition monitoring device track condition monitors a state of a track on which a railroad car runs. The track condition monitoring device includes processing circuitry configured to acquire track displacement data which includes first data associated with second data, the first data indicating a position of the track displaced by a track displacement, and the second data indicating a longitudinal level of the track displacement at the position; and calculate an index value indicating the state of the track in an evaluation target section of the track based on the track displacement data, wherein the position is in the evaluation target section of the track.

摘要: An imaging apparatus is mounted on a moving object and configured to capture an image while moving along a moving direction of the moving object. The imaging apparatus includes a sensor unit including a sensor substrate on which an image sensor is mounted, and a main unit including a main substrate on which an electronic component configured to process an output signal from the sensor substrate is mounted. The imaging apparatus further includes a heat dissipation fin configured to dissipate heat generated in at least one of the sensor unit and the main unit. The heat dissipation fin is provided in a direction substantially parallel to the moving direction.
