If a coasting condition of the vehicle occurs, the electronic drive system is controlled to cause the electric motor to undergo magnetic flux changes. If an exit condition from the coasting condition occurs, and depending whether the electronic drive system is on or off, the electronic drive system is controlled to increase torque of the electric motor or to reduce magnetic flux reduction.

The self-propelled camera positioning device also includes a drive unit coupled to the camera support unit. The drive unit includes at least one drive roller, two guide rollers positioned adjacent to the at least one roller. The guide rollers are biased against the first side and the second side of the center rail. The wheels on the two outer rails are positioned on the two outer rails. The camera support unit is moved along the track to define information of the motion. This information is stored. A scene is shot by operating the camera while moving the camera support unit along the track as a function of the stored information of the motion.

The invention relates to a transfer car for heavy loads, a car which has a chassis frame (1) moving on wheels (2) and having a raisable flatbed (3) on top of it, in which an axle (4'), mounted with bearings to the chassis frame and locked to one of the two wheel pairs, is coupled by power transmission means (5") to a transfer motor (6'), for transferring the car, and which additionally has a lever mechanism (7), connected to the flatbed (3), turning on transverse axles primarily in the forward and back ends and coupled to a raising motor (6') by a power transmission (5'), for raising and lowering the flatbed (3). In prior-art transfer cars it has not been possible to exploit the car-transfer mechanism in any way in the load-raising mechanism. Thus the transfer cars for loads such as paper rolls have so far been of a complicated structure and expensive. In the present invention, synergy has been produced between the raising and trasfer mechanisms by fitting the lever mechanism (7) to turn on the axis (4', 4") of the two wheel pairs (2), being freely rotatably mounted with bearings (8) at least on that axle (4') which is locked (9) to its wheel pair (2).

The invention relates to a car, for a tracked transporter system, supported upon wheels each of which is mounted so that it can swivel about an upright axis and one or more of which are drivable by a power unit carried upon the car, the car being further provided with automatically actuated steering means responsive to passive control means in the track of the system and operative for imparting swivelling movement to the said wheels to cause the car selectively to follow predetermined routes or courses in the said system. A rail type coil car for transporting and handling heavy coils of rolled material consisting of a substantially U-shaped coil support frame which is mounted on forward and rear bolsters and wheel trucks. Spaced-apart coil support shoulders are provided on the coil support frame which permit banding of the coils while they are in position upon the coil car. Spaced-apart selfadjusting resilient shock pads for supporting steel coils of different sizes are provided on each of the coil support shoulders of the coil support frame. A pin suspension system on the bolsters and wheel trucks provides full eight wheel contact on the rails at all times, regardless of track condition. Cam follower rollers are positioned ahead of the leading wheels of each wheel truck so as to lead the coil car through short radius turns with a minimum of wear upon the rails and wheels. Each forward set of wheels is driven by an individual motor drive. The armatures of the dual motor drives are series connected to provide an electrical differential action as the car moves around a turn. The coil car is electrically powered from an underground power rail system and is adapted to move on a surface track system between remote locations. A safety bumper bar is provided on the front of the rail car which automatically stops the coil car upon contact with any obstruction on the tracks or upon contact with the rear of another coil car.
