摘要: Provided is an embodiment to automatically detect signals in track-bound traffic when track-bound vehicles are traveling on track sections in a track network. According to the embodiment, this is achieved in that on the basis of a) location-related reference information, which is stored as reference data and which is detected along the track section in the track network with respect to the geographical surroundings and the track-bound traffic signal control, in the form of reference location information, reference signal state information, context and notification information which is obtained in the context of the detection process, and optionally additional meta information relating to the information, and b) a comparison between the operational location information and operational signal state information, which is detected in the signal detection operation using position data, with the stored reference data, a signal and/or a signal state is detected in order to control the track-bound traffic on the track section.

摘要: With respect to each of trains, a ground device 6 detects a train location in the control section on the basis of a propagation time of a radio wave between a vehicle radio set 4 and a wayside radio set 5, in the case in which the ground device 6 determines that the number of trains has reached the controllable number of trains or there is the possibility that the number of trains reaches the controllable number of trains in its own control section, a ground device 6 disposed in an adjacent control section to the control section in which the number of trains is reaching the controllable number of trains, when a train 2 scheduled to travel toward the control section stops in a station 8, prevents departure of the train 2 scheduled to pass through the border of the control section by making the train 2 wait at the station 8.

摘要: A system for transmitting information to a moving object includes a light source disposed along a moving course for the moving object, an encoding device encoding the light beam emitted from the light source in accordance with a predetermined first signal allotted to the light source, a photodetecting device provided in the moving object, and a device for obtaining the first signal by decoding an output of the photodetecting device. The information typically includes positional data of the moving object. In departure from the case where the radio wave is employed in transmission, the system can operate with great reliability even when the light sources are closely arranged.

摘要: A circuit is provided for distinguishing electrical signals generated by a hot box detector scanner in response to a passing roller bearing from those generated in response to a passing friction bearing. The circuit includes first and second capacitors for storing the maximum amplitude of each output signal wave from the scanner and for storing the maximum amplitude of each wave at a predetermined point. The ratio of the charges stored on the capacitors is then obtained. It has been found that for a roller bearing this ratio should approach unity while for a friction bearing the ratio is not close unity.

摘要: There is disclosed a hot box locator for identifying and locating overheated journal bearings, which circulates a special marking fluid for spraying on train wheels when a defect is detected. The defective overheated journal bearings are detected by an infrared sensing device. Control means are used to activate specially designed electromagnetic pin valves which spray the vehicle wheels with a temporary marking substance when a hot box is indicated. The pin valve construction and circulating marking fluid causes the equipment to operate even after long periods of inactivity. The present invention is directed to hot box locator systems which detect and mark overheated journale bearings of railroad vehicles.

摘要: The temperatures of a plurality of journal bearings or boxes on a passing car are monitored. An average temperature value for each side of the passing car is derived. Comparisons are then effected between the temperatures of the individual journal boxes disposed on a given side of the car and the derived average temperature value for the given side, and deviations above or below predetermined limits are utilized to signify the presence of an alarm condition. Also, means is disclosed by which the presence of an alarm condition can be correlated to a particular car and wheel of the passing train. This information is then enunciated to the train crew so that defective conditions can be readily corrected.
