    摘要: A rail signal arrangement for a rail signaling system comprises a rail signal having a rail signal lamp including a plurality of light emitter sub-arrays each comprising a light emitter, wherein the light emitter sub-arrays are electrically connected in parallel. A control circuit is provided and configured to operate the rail signal lamp in response to operating instructions from a remote operations management system, detect the proportion of light emitter sub-arrays that are in an operable condition with a monitoring system, and provide a condition status signal to the remote operations management system in accordance with whether the proportion of light emitter sub-arrays in an operable condition meets a minimum threshold level.

    摘要: A circuit arrangement includes a lamp filament (1) as a load and a resistor (2) in series with the filament. For detecting the current through the load, the source of a MOSFET (6) is connected with the end of the resistor remote from the filament, the drain of the MOSFET being connected with the other end of the resistor via the primary winding of a step-up transformer (7) and a further resistor (8), a diode (9) being connected between the source and the drain of the MOSFET. If the MOSFET is turned on by an appropriate voltage at an input (11) connected to its gate, the voltage across the secondary winding of the transformer is substantially proportional to the value of the current through the filament.

    摘要: A control system for interlocking installations for railway operation. The system includes controlled devices, condition indication devices and a central control unit with a computer. The central control unit receives condition information from the condition indicating devices and sends orders to the controlled devices. The memory of the computer contains two instruction sequencies identical in view of their result for treating each of the controlled and indicating devices and two separate memory fields for storing the information necessary for carrying out said two instruction sequencies. A definite logical relation exists between at least the address in the respective memory fields, the bit significance in the respective memory words and the bit representation in the respective memory words. The control devices receive control orders according to both instruction sequencies and upon correspondance between them carry out an order. The condition indicating devices give two separate condition information data having the logical relation to each other defined by the organization of the memory field.

    摘要: In a remote control system which is operated by way of light wave guides a specific switching routine is executed at the receiving side upon failure of the system. As long as the remote control system functions properly, cyclically alternating signals, triggered at the transmission side, set a logic element at the receiving side so that the loads are connected for normal command-responsive operation. When the signals fail, or when a transmission is intentionally suppressed, the logic element is conditioned to cause execution of the specific switching routine. Given the design of the remote control system as a light signal control for traffic signals, the switching routine causes the connection of the STOP signal with simultaneous disconnection of the GO signals of the respectively affected light signal.

    摘要: A vehicle control unit for a short-distance traffic system is disclosed wherein a plurality of vehicles are controlled from a center. Each vehicle carries at least two on-board computers each of which process the control commands coming from the center to provide commands to on-board units and compiles telegrams to the center concerning the condition, location and speed of the vehicle in response to information from the on-board units. Both computers perform the necessary processing independently of each other. A comparator ensures that commands to the on-board units and the compiled telegrams are not sent until this information is received in identical form from both computers. Each computer delivers life signals at regular intervals to an associated emergency brake circuit, which initiate emergency braking if life signals from the associated one of the computers are not received within a given period of time. In the event of a malfunction in a computer, a standby computer or a pair of standby computers is put in action.
