摘要： A method of mounting a storage unit to a vehicular apparatus, such as a motorcycle, includes the step of securing a cantilevered mounting member having a mounting plate to the frame of the vehicular apparatus. A storage device can be connected to the mounting plate to stabilize the storage device as the vehicular apparatus is in motion. As a preferred embodiment, the method of mounting begins with the removal of a foot peg from a motorcycle to expose the foot peg mounting bracket to which the mounting member is affixed. The mounting plate of the mounting member can be used to secure articles to be transported by the vehicular apparatus with or without a separate storage device.

摘要： A pannier includes: a casing body; a lid; an attaching-detaching holder which removably attaches the casing body to the vehicle; an opening-closing holder which attaches the lid in an openable and closeable manner; a cylinder which serves to lock both of the attaching-detaching holder and the opening-closing holder; and first and second movable holders which are movable when the cylinder is unlocked. At a lock position of the cylinder, the first and second movable holders are retained at a position where the casing body is unremovable and the lid is unopenable. At a pannier detaching position off the cylinder, the second movable holder is movable to an attachable-detachable position where the movable holder allows the casing body to be detached. At a pannier opening position of the cylinder, the first movable holder is movable to an openable position where the movable holder allows the lid to be opened.

摘要： A two-wheeled vehicle is provided including a frame, front and rear ground-engaging members each supporting the frame, a straddle-type seat, a handlebar for steering the vehicle, at least one light device configured to operate in a hazard mode, an engine supported by the frame and operably coupled to the ground-engaging members, a tilt sensor, and a vehicle control unit in communication with the tilt sensor. The vehicle control unit is operative to detect a tilt angle of the vehicle based on output from the tilt sensor. The vehicle control unit is operative to determine a tip-over condition of the vehicle based on the detected tilt angle exceeding a threshold tilt angle. The vehicle control unit activates the hazard mode of the at least one light in response to the determination of the tip-over condition.
