    摘要: A bicycle gearing system includes input and output shafts, two planetary gear systems, and a clutch mechanism. The clutch mechanism includes three clutch presser plates for frictional engagement with two clutch disks and a clutch base. A motor rotates a camshaft formed with cams selectively engageable with cam followers for driving the clutch presser plates to rotate. Steels balls are provided within cavities formed between the clutch presser plates and a clutch housing to convert rotation of clutch presser plates to linear force for frictional engagement with the two clutch disks and the clutch base. Different angles of rotation of the camshaft produce different clutch and gear combinations and different gear ratios.

    摘要: A method for electronically controlling a bicycle gearshift by detecting a first actual command value of an actuator such as to position a motion transmission chain in engagement with a first of at least three coaxial toothed wheels, and a second actual command value of the actuator such as to position the chain in engagement with a second of said toothed wheels. For each toothed wheel, there is determined a nominal command value of the actuator theoretically such as to position the chain in engagement with said toothed wheel. Computing an actual command value of said actuator at least for each of said toothed wheels other than the first and second toothed wheel, based on said nominal command values and on said first and second actual command value. An electronically servo-assisted bicycle gearshift having modules adapted to implement the above method is also disclosed.

The seat front portion can be provided on the inclined surface, and the seat rear portion can extend toward the back of the motorcycle. The canister can be arranged between the inclined surface and the seat front portion. The canister can store fuel gas generated in the fuel tank, and supply the fuel gas to the engine. At least one of the inclined surface and the lower surface can have a first cavity that stores the canister.

In the transmission unit, a dog-type clutch for synchronizing rotations of the inner shaft and the outer shaft is provided. At the time of vehicle starting, the inner and outer shafts are connected with each other, and the first and second disc clutches of both the inner and outer shafts are engaged. Such transmission unit contrives reductions in the size and weight of a twin-clutch type transmission unit.

    摘要: A two-wheel drive motorcycle having a drive train that supplies power to the front wheel and includes a series of rigid shafts or other internalized drive systems. The front wheel drive consists of components located on the axis of steering within the head tube and positioned symmetrically in a counterbalancing fashion within the front fork in order to counteract the torque reactions from the rotating front wheel drive while providing a full range of steering. The front wheel drive lengthens and shortens in parallel with the shock-absorbing front fork.
