摘要: A ride-on vehicle, such as for a child, includes a vehicle body and one or more wheels that support the vehicle body relative to a surface. At least one of the wheels includes a hub motor arrangement that provides a drive torque for propelling the vehicle. The hub motor arrangement includes a housing defining an interior space. An axle or other mounting element(s) define an axis of rotation of the housing. Preferably, the axle or other mounting element(s) do not pass completely through the housing. A motor drives the housing through a transmission. Preferably, the motor is a standard, compact motor that is positioned on the axis of rotation and can be laterally offset from a central plane of the housing. In some embodiments, a traction element is carried directly by the housing.

摘要: Various electric balance vehicles are described. In some embodiments, the vehicle has first and second pedal housings to support a respective foot of a user. The first and second pedal housings can be rotatable relative to each other. The vehicle can have first and second wheel assemblies. An axle can extend substantially between the wheel assemblies. In some embodiments, one pedal housing rotates relative to the axle and one housing is rotationally fixed relative to the housing. The vehicle can balance and provide locomotion to the user.

摘要: An adjustable wheel mobility vehicle can have a support structure for supporting a rider, a modular conveying feature with a wheel, and an attachment that physically and tightly secures the modular conveying feature to the support structure in at least two different positions. A tool-free mechanism can allow a user to free the modular conveying feature from the support structure for movement to another position. A system for adjusting a skateboard wheel position can include a wheel support structure having multiple wheel attachment positions, and a wheel assembly comprising a skateboard wheel and a base. The wheel can swivel with respect to the base and the base can join to the wheel support structure. The base and wheel support structure can tightly join to prevent rotation of the base with respect to the wheel support structure and that tightly retain the base in a first attachment position. A release feature can allow a user to easily loosen the base and reposition it in a second attachment position.

摘要: A caster board can include a front platform, a rear platform, and at least two neck sections extending between the front platform and the rear platform. The neck sections can serve as a torsion element allowing twisting of the front platform relative to the rear platform. An aperture between the neck sections can be configured to receive an insert. The insert can alter a structural characteristic of the caster board, such as the torsional stiffness of the caster board.
