摘要： A laminate structure for making a cushioned component for a vehicle interior, such as a seat cushion or head rest, has a high density foam bonded to an interior surface of a seat cover material. After the laminate structure is formed into a desired shape for the cushioned component, it is inserted into a vacuum mold having a mold surface with a shape corresponding with a desired exterior surface shape of the cushioned component. Liquid foam-forming material is injected into the laminate structure within the mold and allowed to cure to form the cushioned component. The high density foam of the laminate structure preferably has a density of at least 4 lbs/ft3 and an air permeability of 5 to 100 ft3/ft2 minute. This high density foam may be created by felting a polyurethane foam.

摘要： A method for transferring retroreflective assemblies in a predetermined sequence to a target. The target assemblies each comprise, in a preferred embodiment, a transfer sheet having openings formed therein, retroreflective targets being positioned in the openings, and a base member having a first surface which adheres to the bottom surface of the transfer member, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer being secured to the second surface of said base member. The assembled targets are positioned on a liner in a predetermined pattern and the liner is then wound in a roll in a manner such that the targets are positioned on the outside of the roll. When the targets are to be applied to a surface, the roll is unwound with the target assemblies facing the surface, the target assemblies then being forced against the surface such that the adhesive secures the target assemblies thereto. When the liner is removed, the targets remain secured to the surface in a predetermined sequence.

The elongated strip of covering material includes an adhesive that causes the covering material to adhere to the muntin bar member. The muntin bar member and the covering material are brought into contact with each other to cause the covering material to overlie and adhere to the muntin bar member.

摘要： The invention is a method, and its accompanying apparatus, for charging and discharging short-cycle and/or coating presses with layered pressing material. In order to reduce the charging and discharging times, the method entails inserting a first transport device, or charging device, having a plurality of clamping devices into a charging region and inserting a second transport device having a plurality of suction devices into a pressing chamber, wherein the first and second transport devices are inserted transverse to a longitudinal central axis from a pair of supply axes to a pair of charging and discharging axes. The pressing material is clamped in the charging region and a plate is accepted in the pressing chamber; the first transport device is then moved into the pressing chamber and the second transport devices into a discharging region. The pressing material is then deposited onto a lower heating plate and the first transport device is removed from the pressing chamber and the plate is deposited in the discharging region. Next, the first transport device is withdrawn from the pressing chamber and the second transport device is withdrawn from the discharging region. The first and second transport devices are withdrawn in a direction transverse to the longitudinal central axis from the pair of charging and discharging axes to the pair of supply axes. Last, the transport devices are returned to an original position for a new cycle.

The adhesive or at least one of two or more different adhesives being applied to the web can contain one or more taste- and/or odor- and or flammability influencing agents.

摘要： A method of forming spacers on a display substrate is described. First, a mould having a plurality of trenches is provided. Spacer are dropped onto the mould. When the mould is vibrated, the spacers fall into the trenches. Then, a display substrate having viscous substance on a surface thereof is pressed onto the spacers in the trenches of the mould, so that the spacers are bonded to the display substrate due to the viscous substance. Finally, the spacers bonded with the display substrate are removed from the trenches of the mould.
