摘要： A compact disc (CD) and digital versatile disc (DVD) anti-theft media case that is lockable, useful for both sales and rental of the media, having a first and second portion, one of the portions containing a detent designed to interfit with a second detent situated on the other of the two portions. The two detents interfit with one another to form a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism can be remotely moved by the use of a magnetic or electrical remote tool. The locking mechanism when locked in addition to preventing the case from being opened also prevents the disc from being removed from the case. The case can be locked and unlocked remotely without having to distort the outward appearance of the case and is therefore useful in unlocking shrink wrapped cases used in sales, but can also be used for rental media.

The seal assurance means (5) is formed on one side by a retaining ring (6) which encircles the container (1) below its opening edge (2) and on the other side by a cover part (7) which covers over the cover (3) of the container (1) at least partially. The retaining ring (6) is hingedly connected to the cover part (7) of the seal assurance means and at at least one area across the container and opposite the hinge connection (8, 9) there are, mutually engaging in such a manner that non-destructive release is impossible, locking means (10-13) which interlock the retaining ring (6) and the cover part (7) of the seal assurance means (5). Thus the cover (3) sealing the container (1) is sealed between them in such a manner that non-destructive release is impossible.

摘要： An insert package includes an insert and a container. The container is formed by assembling an upper housing member and a lower housing member, thereby creating a void bound by side walls and a closed end. The container includes rails or channels, and an open end with an engageable cover. When the cover is open, the open end provides access to the void. An insert can be passed into container through the open end. The insert is a package for storing and dispensing items, such as a blister card. The insert includes wings and the wings can include lugs or detents. The wings are designed to interface with the rails, to align the insert with the container during storage and dispensing of the items. A retainer in the container, and a retainer receiver on the insert (or vice versa) can selectively immobilize the insert. A release can disengage the insert and allow slideable movement of the insert into and out of the container.

A tamper-proof cap assembly for use with an access valve can include a cylindrical outer cap and a cylindrical inner cap, wherein the inner cap captively resides within and rotates freely within the outer cap. The inner cap of a tamper-proof cap assembly can threadingly receive the threaded end of an access valve. A tamper-proof cap system can include a tamper-proof cap assembly and a tool for manipulating the inner cap such that a user with the tool can manipulate the tamper-proof cap and screw it onto or off of an access valve. Without the tool the tamper-proof cap cannot be removed from the access valve.
