摘要： The invention is an egg carton pickup head utilized in a robotic system for packing egg cartons into tight fitting containers. The automated pickup head includes a pair of wings which move linearly, toward or away from each other, three guide wheels affixed to each wing for guiding the movement of a pair of arcuate shaped carton engaging arms. The head further includes a first pair of actuating cylinders for moving the wings toward or away from each other and a second pair of actuating cylinders to actuate and retract the arms in an arcuate path similar to the radius and curvature of the arcuate pickup arms.

摘要： A support body having a plurality of grasping fingers on opposite sides which are shaped in the form of an arc of a circle. The fingers move in a circular path for grasping and releasing articles with a minimum of clearance along the side of the articles. An arm supports each of the fingers by one end and has the second end of the arm rotationally supported from the support body at an angle. The first end of the arm is at an angle to the plane of the supported finger and the second end is at an angle to the first end. A lever is connected between the support body and the first ends of each arm for rotating the first ends about the second ends. A conveying system may be used with the pick up and release apparatus having a conveyor with spaced rollers in which compression plates are positioned at each end of the rollers for compressing the article for pickup.

摘要： A lifting device for filled sacks comprises a frame in which a pair of parallel clamping bars are mounted to be revolved in unison by a crank about a common horizontal axis parallel to and spaced from the longitudinal axes of the bars. One of the bars is individually rotatable about its own longitudinal axis and is displaceable towards and away from the other bar. The gathered top of a sack is introduced between the bars when these are separated and automatically becomes wrapped around the bars and clamped therebetween as the crank is turned, whereafter the sack can be lifted by raising the frame.

In the placing operation the member gripped and the laterally surrounding members are not deformed. The gripping arms are pivoted at one end and grip the member at the other. The pivoted ends of the gripping arms can be moved away from or toward one another while being pivoted for effecting gripping or releasing of the member.

摘要： This device for picking up separately selected slack articles from a heap of articles disposed in a container comprises a movable handling arm adapted to be lowered into the container for picking up the selected article, for example a textile, just as it is or wrapped in a plasticizer film bag, and a pair of wheels rotatably mounted to the lower end of the handling arm and driven by suitable means. The handling arm is lowered into the container and then the wheels are caused to rotate in opposite directions in order to nip one article at a time therebetween. Finally, the arm is lifted off the container and the wheels are separated for releasing the article. The device is intended more particularly for use in the mail order trade.

摘要： In lifting gear for filled sacks, a device for engaging a gathered and flattened end of the sack adjacent the mouth thereof comprises two pairs of tongs. A first clamping bar is disposed at the free end of one limb of each pair of tongs and a second clamping bar, parallel to the first, is secured to two links which are pivoted to the free ends of the other limbs. The gathered and flattened end of the sack is introduced between the clamping bars as the open tongs are lowered, whereupon the links are revolved and the tongs are closed so that the end of the sack is slung about the clamping bars.

摘要： A device for gripping and hoisting packed sacks includes a contrivance for mounting the device onto a hoisting machine, load bearing members rigidly coupled to the contrivance for mounting the device onto a hoisting machine. The load bearing members carry vertical plates hinged thereto and turnable from an actuator. The free ends of the load bearing members has slots whose longer faces are in a position of angularity with respect to the end faces of the load bearing members. The device incorporates also two rods arranged parallel to each other, of which the rod is rigidly fixed with its ends to the vertical plates while the other rod is fitted in the slots of the load bearing members. The load bearing member carries a mechanism for restricting the load upon the actuator imparting turning motion to the vertical plates, said mechanism being kinematically associated with the rod fitted in the slots of the slots of the load bearing members.
