摘要： A process and apparatus for producing a processed organic product containing organic matters having a superior nutrient balance and exhibiting high performances in water retention and gas permeation. The process involves supplying the raw material 26 containing organic fibrous substance to a reactor 1 provided therein with a plurality of main screws 6, 7 arranged side by side so as to confront the peripheral edges of the screw threads of neighboring screws with each other such that each acts to forward the reaction mixture in substantially the same direction at a velocity different from each other, effecting a biological or biochemical reaction therein while subjecting the organic fibrous substance to axial splitting and breaking by the main screws 6, 7 and taking out a processed organic product via a processed product exit port 31, which is then dewatered in a dewatering means 35 before being dried in a dryer 38 to obtain the processed product in a dried solid form.

摘要： The invention relates to a hybridization oven or incubator, and more particularly to a rotisserie and carousel/retainer system for use therein. The rotisserie includes a spindle that is readily removable from the oven, having a first end received in an annular bracket and a second end received annular bracket with an upper slot for passage of the spindle into the bracket. The carousel clip system includes a thin metal carousel plate preferably formed of a stainless steel and having a plurality of ears bent perpendicular to the carousel plate and having a detent aperture therein. A plurality of bottle retainers are removably attached to the carousel plate, the retainers having a base channel adapted to receive the ears of the carousel plate and further including a resilient arm having a detent projecting into the channel and deflectable during insertion of the ear into the channel, the detent entering the detent aperture of the ear under the bias of the resilient arm to removably retain the clip on the ear of the carousel plate.

The digester with an agitator and the method feature improved mixing of the waste products in the digester and enhanced digester efficiency. The digester includes a preferably round bottom surface, a filler rod and an agitator with a drive axle, preferably arranged on the periphery of the digester. The agitator is mounted in a stirring shaft or stirring pipe arranged underneath the filler standard. The method for operating the agitator in a digester involves stirring the content while material is fed into the digester through the filler standard.

摘要： The present invention is a device and method for efficient composting of organic matter using a low-cost composting structure and high efficiency methods. A composting container incorporates rigid insulated panels to form an insulated composting container of a generally cylindrical shape with polygonal cross-section. The insulated panels provide high thermal efficiency at low cost to help maintain composting temperatures. A rigid frame supports the panels and allows the container to be rotated. An internal manifold or plenum supplies air while the container is stationary or rotating. Rotation in various embodiments is effected by motor driven rollers bearing on external hoops integrated to the container support frame. In preferred methods, the container is rotated at rates slower than one revolution per minute as air is introduced.
