    摘要: A hair braiding machine makes it possible to mechanically braid hair in a short period of time and to stably braid hair regardless of the state of hair. The hair braiding machine includes a pair of stationary rotors, which is rotated in opposite directions by driving of a motor and has a plurality of insertion recesses along an outer circumference thereof at regular intervals, a plurality of movable rotors, which is inserted into insertion recesses of the stationary rotors along orbital tracks, makes a circular motion along the orbital tracks by means of a rotating force of the stationary rotors, and includes a fastener at an upper portion thereof to and from which a hair holding unit holding hairs to be braided is coupled and decoupled, and a guide, which is installed at the intersections of circles of an upper orbital hole, changes a path of each movable rotor reaching one of the intersections in a diagonal direction by one of the stationary rotors, and guides the movable rotor, the path of which is changed, to make a circular motion by means of the other stationary rotor.

    摘要: A braider carrier for wide ribbon and/or composite strand is disclosed. The braider carrier guide pulley assembly includes a support, a pulley frame operatively, pivotly mounted to the support, a generally cylindrical guide pulley operatively, rotatably mounted to the pulley frame to accomodate movement of the carrier during the braiding operation, openings through the support and pulley frame at the point of pivot and aligned with the guide pulley, a delivery eye operatively connected to the pulley frame, the eye and the openings capable of holding strand to be braided against the cylindrical surface of the pulley preventing the strand to be braided from twisting during the braiding operation which pivots the pulley frame. The braider carrier bobbin assembly utilizes a magnetic clutch and a torsion spring, the spring capable of providing slack control of strand to be braided and the clutch capable of providing tensioned feed of strand as strand is wound off of the bobbin.

    摘要: Cores (a1-a4) pass through separate points in a plate (1) of the machine, over which plate thread-carrying spools (17.sub.1 -17.sub.24) are free to move. Two pairs of spools (i.e. four spools) are associated with each of the six possible pairs of the cores (a1-a4). Both spools in each pair are wound in the same direction around the corresponding pair of cores. The other two spools corresponding to the same pair of cores wind round the pair in the opposite direction. At successive steps of the method, each spool in each pair of spools is swapped with the other spool of the pair to occupy the position previously occupied by the said other spool. As a result, each pair of cores is covered by two helical windings in each winding direction.

    摘要: A braided packing comprises a plurality of outer core strands, braided together with a plurality of braid strands, the outer core strands extending helically along said packing and forming with the braid strands a braid having a normal twist extending helically in one direction, the braid strands extending over the core strands in a continuous helical pattern at an angle to the outer core strands and the normal helical twist of the braid, and a plurality of warp strands in rows between said braid strands extending helically in a direction opposite said braid strands. Apparatus for making the braided packing comprises a rotatable condenser adapted to grip the braid at the point to which the braid strands extend for braiding together and means for rotating the condenser. The method of braiding comprises rotating the braid at the point at which the braid strands come together.

    摘要: A carrier transport device is provided with a stator table comprised of a plurality of stators 4 which themselves are comprised of cores 2 and coils 3, and a carrier C in which permanent magnets m1-m4 are provided such that by passing an appropriate current through the coil, the cores of the stators are magnetized. The attraction or repulsion generated between the cores of the stators and the permanent magnets of the carrier is used to transport the carrier along the stator table in two dimensions. This carrier transport device allows for transport of a carrier in two dimensions with a simple design for quick transport of a carrier, and for reliably bringing the carrier to a stop at a predetermined location.
