    摘要: A system is used to control access into a vehicle having a vehicle body defining a vehicle interior, a vehicle exterior, and an access opening. The vehicle also has an access door for selectively covering and uncovering at least a portion of the access opening. The system includes a latch configured to selectively fasten the door to the vehicle body and release the door therefrom. The system also includes a cable configured to operate the latch and thereby release the door from the vehicle body. The system additionally includes a door presenter configured to shift the door away from the vehicle body. The system also includes a mechanism configured to sequentially actuate the cable and the door presenter. The system further includes an electric motor configured to power the mechanism such that the door is shifted away from the vehicle body by the door presenter after the door is released.

    摘要: An electronic door latching assembly for a side door of a vehicle is disclosed and includes a retaining member and an actuator. The actuator is operably connected to the retaining member and moves the retaining member between a primary position and an unlatched position. The electronic door latching assembly also includes a control module in electrical communication with the actuator. The control module executes instructions to: receive as input a power signal indicating that a loss of electrical power in the vehicle is imminent. After receiving the power signal, the control module receives a door open signal indicating that a door of the vehicle is being opened. In response to receiving the door open signal, the control module commands the actuator to rotate the retaining member from the unlatched position to the primary position where the side door is unable to latch shut.

    摘要: The invention controls a power cinching function of a motor vehicle door latch in order to improve door seal performance under conditions wherein vibrations could otherwise reduce seal effectiveness. With the door latched closed in a flush condition, the vehicle speed is compared to a slow-speed threshold. When the vehicle speed is greater than the slow-speed threshold, then a vehicle vibration parameter is compared to a vibration threshold. When the vibration parameter is greater than the vibration threshold, then the power cinching function is activated to move the door to to a subflush condition which increases a compression of the seal between the door and a vehicle door frame. When the door is in the subflush condition, the vehicle speed continues to be compared to the slow-speed threshold, and when the vehicle speed is less than the slow-speed threshold then the door is released back to the flush condition.

The lead screw assembly includes a lead screw having a groove extending helically along a length of the lead screw. The groove is formed having a varying pitch. A drive nut is provided having a body with a through bore configured for receipt of the lead screw therethrough. The drive nut has teeth extending radially inwardly into the through bore for receipt in the groove of the lead screw. The teeth are pivotal in multiple directions relative to the body to allow the teeth to pivot in multiple directions within the groove.

For an electrically operated normal operation, the transmission element is designed such that it can move in an entirely electrically driven manner into a first normal operation position, in which the transmission element moves the handle part into the actuation position via the lever element. The handle part can be moved and actuated in order to open the door, even in the event of a failure of the motor drive. For this purpose, for a currentless emergency operation, the transmission element is designed such that it can move from an initial position into an emergency operation position, in which the transmission element swivels the lever element at least in order to move the handle part into the actuation position.
