摘要： A latch mechanism is disclosed for latching a cash drawer of a data terminal device in a closed position and for generating an electrical signal indicating the position of the drawer within the terminal device. The latching mechanism includes a rotatable latch member having a latching portion normally positioned out of the line of movement of a drawer catch member. Movement of the drawer to a closed position results in the catch member engaging and rotating the latch member wherein the latching portion is moved into a latching position with the catch member allowing a blocking member to hold the latch member in the latched position, the blocking member operating a switch for generating an electrical signal indicating the latching of the cash drawer.

摘要： An interlock structure of the cable type for stacked plural drawer cabinet structures which limits the opening of drawers to a single drawer and prevents plural drawers being opened at the same time. An elongate base or frame is mounted in the cabinet adjacent to the drawers. The frame supports plural (one for each drawer) eccentric blocker elements and adjacent follower elements and supports at one end a provided slider element having limited movement. A cable is attached at one end to the slider and at the other end to the frame with an intermediate loop which provide two cable courses, one of said courses threaded on the successive blockers and the other course operably threaded over the respective adjacent followers maintaining the respective blockers and followers in operative engagement. The blockers are moved by interference engagement by a selected drawer. The opening of one drawer causes movement of the respective blocker and movement of the respective follower to an over-center prevent position so that, upon attempted opening of plural drawers or of a second drawer, the blockage is made firm and the slider engages its limit in prevention of any such movement until all drawers are closed. Locking is by plunger means in prevention of any slider movement by simultaneously engaging the slider with the frame.

摘要： An actuating means for a vehicle body closure latch includes a driver or passenger controlled electric motor driving a reciprocable rack through a gear train. The rack is resiliently biased to a neutral position and shifts an actuator from neutral to an operating position when the rack is moved from the neutral position to a driving position. The actuator is engageable with a latch operator to control movement of the latch bolt to unlatched position when the actuator moves to an operating position. When the actuator reaches the operating position, the actuator is positively stopped to stall the motor or power operator. When the power is removed from the stalled motor or power operator by the driver or passenger releasing a switch, the bias of the resilient centering means returns the rack to its initial neutral or starting position and back drives the motor through the gear train.
