    摘要： An apparatus for tightening a ring of refractory brick in order to accommodate the installation of the key brick into a key brick space of such a refractory brick ring to tightly close and complete the ring is provided. The apparatus includes an expansion frame including a first end and a second end. The first end is selectively attachable to a first brick on one side of the key brick space at a point on the first brick remote to the key brick space. The second end is selectively attachable to a second brick on the opposing side of the key brick space at a point on the second brick remote to the key brick space. A power device is associated with the expansion frame for providing outwardly opposing force on the first and second ends such that circumferential compressive force is exerted on the refractory brick ring remotely from the key brick space to tighten the ring. A method of tightening the ring of refractory brick in order to accommodate the installation of a key brick into a key brick space of such a refractory brick ring is also disclosed.

The Polymer Rubber Gel can be sprayed on the rock surface using a heated want coupled to a heated kettle. Then, a layer of I polyethylene is formed against the polymer rubber gel layer. Finally, a finish layer such as concrete, tile, brick or segmental wall block is placed against the outer side of the polyethylene layer.

    摘要： An adjustable brick support ring (10) formed from a plurality of arcuate ring segments (16, 18) that are pivotally connected to each other in endwise fashion. Each ring segment includes a mating end (40) that is received between two connecting plates (36) that are secured on either side of an engaging end (38) of an adjacent ring segment and project therefrom. A pivot pin (56) is installed through aligned holes in the connecting plates and the overlapped mating end of the ring segment to enable adjacent segments to pivot with respect to each other for adjustment of the size of the arcuate ring. A locking pin (62) is inserted through a selected one of a sequence of locking holes (60) formed in the locking plate at a point radially inwards from the pivot pin, to pass through aligned locking holes (58) formed in the overlapped mating end of the ring segment to prevent rotation of the segments with respect to each other from an adjusted size. The ring is mounted on a slide rail assembly (72) to slide along the length of an adjustable scaffold (12).
