摘要: A multi-component inorganic anchoring system, for chemical fastening of anchors and post-installed reinforcing bars in mineral substrates, includes a curable powdery aluminous cement component A and an initiator component B in an aqueous phase for initiating a curing process. The powdery aluminous cement component A includes an aluminous cement component based on powdery calcium aluminate cement and component B includes an accelerator constituent and water. Furthermore, at least part of the calcium aluminate cement of component A has an average particle size in the range of from 0.5 to 15 μm. Methods of using the calcium aluminate cement in a multi-component inorganic anchoring system to increase load values and methods for chemical fastening of anchors in mineral substrates can be performed.

摘要: The present invention provides a method and system for manufacturing cement wherein ground particles of cement and calcium sulfate are subjected to infrared sensors, laser sensors, or both, so that emanated, irradiated, transmitted, and/or absorbed energy having wavelengths principally within the range of 700 nanometers to 1 millimeter can be monitored and compared to stored data previously obtained from ground cement and sulfate particles and preferably correlated with stored strength, calorimetric, or other data values, such that adjustments can be made to the mill processing conditions, such as the form or amounts of calcium sulfate (e.g., gypsum, plaster, anhydride), or cement additive levels. The strength and other properties of cement can be thus adjusted, and its quality can be more uniform.

摘要: Trona-accelerated composition for backfilling trenches are described. The compositions consist of aggregate (e.g., sand), Portland cement, Trona, water and sometimes air. The compositions may have a compressive strength of between 10 psi and 100 psi after 4 hours, a compressive strength of between 75 psi and 500 psi after 28 days, and a penetration resistance of between 4.5 tsf and 200 tsf after 4 hours. Also disclosed are methods of filling a trench with fast-setting flowable fill.

摘要: Composite panels and methods of preparation are described herein. In some embodiments, the composite panel can include a first fiber reinforcement, a polyurethane composite having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, wherein the first surface is in contact with the first fiber reinforcement; and a cementitious material adjacent the first fiber reinforcement opposite the polyurethane composite. The polyurethane composite can be formed from (i) one or more isocyanates selected from the group consisting of diisocyanates, polyisocyanates, and mixtures thereof, (ii) one or more polyols, and (iii) a particulate filler. The fiber reinforcement can be formed from a woven or non-woven material, such as glass fibers. The composite panel can further include a material, such as a second fiber reinforcement and a cementitious layer, in contact with the second surface of the polyurethane composite. Articles comprising the composite panels are also disclosed.

摘要: A method of reducing corrosion in tubular strings installed in wellbores includes dispensing an accelerated cement composition into a wellbore annulus, a casing-casing annulus, or both, the accelerated cement composition comprising a cement composition and an accelerant composition, where: the cement composition comprises a cement precursor and water; the accelerant composition comprises triethanolamine; and a concentration of the triethanolamine in the accelerated cement composition is greater than or equal to 10,000 parts per million by weight; allowing the accelerated cement composition to cure in the annulus to form a cured cement, where the triethanolamine reacts with a metal of the tubular string, the reaction forming a protective layer on the surfaces of the tubular string that inhibits dissolution of iron from the metal of the tubular string.

摘要: Sealing composition for plugging and abandoning a wellbore and methods of plugging and abandoning a wellbore are disclosed. Embodiments of a method for plugging and abandoning a wellbore may include introducing a sealing composition into a wellbore and curing the sealing composition to form a plug. The sealing composition may include from 1 weight percent to 20 weight percent of a curing agent, based on the total weight of the composition, and from 20 weight percent to 97 weight percent of an epoxy resin system, based on the total weight of the composition. The epoxy resin system may include an epoxy resin having the formula (OC2H3)—CH2—O—R1—O—CH2—(C2H3O), where R1 is a linear or branched hydrocarbyl having from 4 to 24 carbon atoms; and a reactive diluent having the formula R—O—CH2—(C2H3O), where R is a hydrocarbyl having from 12 to 14 carbon atoms.

摘要: Self-consolidating geopolymer compositions utilizing fly ash and inorganic mineral including alkaline earth metal oxide as cementitious reactive components and include cement set retarder. The alkaline earth metal oxide is preferably calcium oxide (also known as lime or quicklime) and/or magnesium oxide. The inorganic minerals including alkaline earth metal oxide have an alkaline earth metal oxide content preferably greater than 50 wt. %, more preferably greater than 60 wt. %, even more preferably greater than 70 wt. %, and most preferably greater than 80 wt. %, for example greater than 90 wt. %. The cementitious reactive powder may optionally also include one or more aluminous cements and one or more source of calcium sulfates. The cementitious reactive powders are activated with an alkali metal chemical activator selected from alkali metal salt and/or alkali metal base. Methods for making the compositions are also disclosed.

摘要: The present application relates to a setting and hardening accelerator for a cement, mortar or concrete composition, optionally comprising cement replacement materials (CSMs). The accelerator composition comprises an aqueous nitrate solution and an alkaline hydroxide. Particularly, the aqueous accelerator composition comprises between 30 and 55 w/w % of a nitrate salt as a nitrate solution and between 0.02 and 0.1 w/w % of an alkaline hydroxide, which is dissolved in the nitrate solution and, optionally, as a hydroxide precipitate in the accelerator composition, wherein the accelerator composition has a pH of at least 9.0. In case the cement, mortar or concrete composition comprises CSMs, the accelerator composition has a pH of at least 12.0. The application furthermore relates to the use of the accelerator composition according to the present application and to a method for accelerating a cement, mortar or concrete composition by reacting the composition with the accelerator according to the application, in particular at cold temperatures.

The cement composition has a thickening time of about two hours or longer.
