摘要: The roof of a tunnel being bored by a tunneling machine is continuously supported, using sections of lagging and ring beams. A shield is positioned over the earth boring machine. The shield includes a multiplicity of elongated members. The elongated members provide elongated recesses that will accommodate sections of lagging. A length of tunnel is bored, and a ring beam is implanted in the tunnel beneath the shield. The lagging may be manipulated in the elongated recesses in the shield and positioned proximate the roof of the tunnel supported by the ring beam. Additional lagging is provided by repeating the steps.

摘要: A composite support structure, a construction system, and a method, the composite support structure includes a plurality of arc plate rings that are longitudinally arranged along a roadway. A concrete fill steel tube support is arranged on an inner side or an outer side of each arc plate ring. The arc plate ring is formed by splicing a plurality of arc plates. Each concrete fill steel tube support is formed by splicing a plurality of steel pipe sections. The arc plate rings and the concrete fill steel tube supports are capable of jointly supporting walls of the roadway. The support structure has high bearing capability, high construction efficiency of a construction system, and low labor intensity.

摘要: A shiftable support for use in tunnels, mines and the like. A plurality of longitudinally arrayed supporting frames is connected by connecting means, which connects at least alternate ones of the frames to form them into units. Displacing means displaces the supporting frames individually or the units with reference to one another, between a supporting position and a shifting position in which the respective frames or units are advanced in forward direction. Operating means decreases the dimensions of the frames in a plane transverse to the direction of advancement preparatory to displacement to the shifting position, and increases the dimensions upon displacement from the shifting position to the support position.

摘要: The present invention relates to a tunneling method, and particularly, to a tunneling method by installing an internal pre-support member and a corresponding post support member in an alternate manner or by installing an external pre-support member and a corresponding post support member in an alternate manner, and an apparatus, respectively, therefor. The tunneling method includes: excavating a pilot tunnel in a main tunnel to be constructed; radially forming a drilled hole from an excavation surface of the pilot tunnel to a tip end of the pre-support member of the main tunnel at a plurality of locations in the pilot tunnel to install the pre-support member; inserting the pre-support member into the drilled hole, and conducting grouting and performing curing to fix the pre-support member; excavating the tunnel in stages in a longitudinal direction along an excavation line of the main tunnel and primarily spraying shotcrete to an excavation surface of the main tunnel in the main tunnel; installing a post-support member between a plurality of the pre-support members on the main tunnel surface to which the shotcrete is primarily sprayed; and connecting the pre-support member and the post-support member with a plate type support member.

摘要: A shoring box system (10) for use in a ground trench (60) includes a pair of shoring panels (12) and a number of elongate props (22). The props are attached to the two shoring panels to maintain the panels in an erected position in which they are spaced apart, with an open zone (19) between the panels. The props can be detached from the shoring panels while the shoring panels are in the erected position. In an embodiment each panel is hollow and has a lower opening (36) with a closure flap (38) for closing the opening, to enable filling material in the hollow to pour from the panel as it is removed from the trench. Also in an embodiment, each shoring panel is tapered in a downward direction.
