    Abstract: The invention relates to a water separating arrangement in a vehicle air intake intended for mounting between a source of ambient air and an air filter unit. The water separating arrangement (101; 201; 301) comprises a first water separator (110; 210; 310) having a horizontal air intake section (212; 312) and a first water separating section (211; 311), which first water separating section is arranged at least partially surrounding an outer portion of the air intake section (212; 312). The water separating arrangement (101; 201; 301) further comprises a second water separator (120; 220; 320) comprising a housing (221; 321) with an air inlet (223; 323) connected to the air intake section (212; 312); an air outlet (224; 324) connected to an air outlet section (229; 329); wherein the second water separator is arranged to redirect the flow of ambient air over an angle of at least 80°.

    Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes an engine block including a cylinder, a horizontally oriented crankshaft, an air-fuel mixing device configured to provide an air-fuel mixture to the cylinder, and an air filter assembly configured to provide filtered air to the air-fuel mixing device. The air filter assembly includes a housing comprising a first housing end portion and a second housing end portion and defining an interior volume, a filter element positioned within the interior volume dividing the interior volume into a filtered volume and an unfiltered volume, a gap between the filter element and the housing configured to allow air to flow between the filter element and the housing, an air intake, and a filtered air outlet.

    Abstract: An air cleaner includes a base member including a base wall extending substantially horizontally, and a cover member attached to an upper side of the base wall to jointly define a filter chamber for receiving a filter element therein. The air cleaner further includes a passage member communicating with the filter chamber and incorporated with a plurality of air ejection pipes each surrounded by an annular air inlet passage fitted with guide vanes for rotating the air flow, and a case member defining separation chambers for separating dust from the rotating air flow. The passage member is interposed between the cover member and the case member.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-modal multi-media air filtration system which can include: a base having one or more connection features and a filter media assembly, the filter media assembly being configured to attach to the base at a first end and the cap at a second end. The filter media assembly also including a first filter media extending across a primary air flow path and a second filter media extending across a secondary air flow path. The air filtration assembly then includes a blocking mechanism and an actuation assembly being configured to work together so as to selectively open or close the secondary air flow path so as to alternate the degree of filtration passing through the filter media based on the degree of desired filtration.

    Abstract: A breather device and a snow removal machine having the breather device have a casing into which blowby gas of an engine flows, an air suction port for letting out gas from the inside of the casing, and a gas-liquid separation mechanism for separating moisture contained in the blowby gas. The gas-liquid separation mechanism separates an inlet, which allows the blowby gas to flow in, and the air suction port by a predetermined distance, and has the air suction port positioned above a liquid path through which the moisture flows. A gas path allows the blowby gas to flow from the inlet to the air suction port without passing through an air cleaner element.
