摘要: A cooling system is provided. The cooling system includes an enclosure. The enclosure is defined by walls among which at least one is movable. The enclosure further includes at least one aperture on at least one wall. The system further includes an amplification element that is coupled with at least one walls of the enclosure. Further, the cooling system includes an actuation unit mechanically coupled with the amplification element. The actuation unit includes at least one actuation signal triggered actuator configured to cause a displacement the amplification element. In the cooling system, the amplification element is configured to amplify the actuator caused displacement through to the at least one wall of the enclosure such that fluid enters and exits the enclosure from the at least one aperture.

摘要: An electromagnetic fluid pump comprising an electromagnet motor unit for producing a magnetic field of reversing polarity to drive a fluid pump unit to pump fluid such as air. The fluid pump unit comprises a generally cup-shaped pump casing having its open end closed by a flexible diaphragm to define a fluid pumping chamber. A permanent magnet is mounted on the diaphragm, and the pump unit is mounted directly on the electromagnet motor unit with the permanent magnet and the electromagnet motor unit positioned at opposite ends of the fluid pumping chamber. In operation, the reversing magnetic field alternately repels and attracts the permanent magnet to displace the diaphragm to expand and contract the volume of the fluid pumping chamber. Expansion of the fluid pumping chamber draws fluid into the chamber through an inlet port including a one-way valve, and contraction of the fluid pumping chamber expels the fluid from the chamber through an outlet port including a one-way valve. In one alternative embodiment, the pump casing and the motor unit are movably mounted in a pump housing for reciprocating movement toward and away from the reciprocating permanent magnet to increase pump output, whereas in another alternative embodiment two of the fluid pumps are connected back-to-back for relatively vibration-free reciprocation of their permanent magnets in equal and opposite directions.

摘要: A multistage compressor is disclosed that may include a wobbling member operationally coupled with an external power source. The external power source may drive a nutating motion of the wobbling member. The multistage compressor may further include a plurality of flexible chambers connected to the wobbling member, each flexible chamber including a respective intake passage and a respective discharge passage. The wobbling member may sequentially press down and pull up the plurality of flexible chambers. The multistage compressor may further include a one-way valve in each respective intake passage and gas may be drawn into each flexible chamber through the respective one-way valve of each flexible chamber as the wobbling member pulls up each flexible chamber. The gas may then be compressed to a higher pressure as the wobbling member presses down each flexible chamber and compressed gas may be discharged through the respective discharge passage of each flexible chamber.

摘要: Start-stop engine systems for a turbocharged engine have a bypass with fluid flow from upstream of the compressor or downstream of the compressor to a position between the throttle and the engine, or from between the compressor and throttle to a position upstream of the compressor with a Venturi device in the bypass. A device requiring vacuum is in fluid communication with a suction port of the Venturi device. An electronic vacuum pump is added that is in fluid communication with the device requiring vacuum or with the Venturi device. The electronic vacuum pump is operated during a stop condition of the start-stop engine to replace the vacuum generated by the Venturi device or to provide a pressure drop across the Venturi device so the Venturi device continues to generate vacuum for the device requiring vacuum.
