Furthermore, the head has a rectangular prism shape. An initial opening is positioned next to the first surface of the head. The initial opening is nests a cable tie within itself. A lock opening is positioned next to the second surface of the head. The lock opening has a first wall and a second wall, and a protrusion is positioned on the first wall. The protrusion is retains the cable tie inserted within the lock opening from reverse direction. A middle opening is positioned in a center from the initial opening to the lock opening. The middle opening is nests a cable tie within itself, similar to the initial opening.

The void includes a routing edge that defines a first acute angle relative to the first leg and a second acute angle relative to the second leg. The first and second acute angles are approximately forty-five degrees. The body has a first surface and a second surface that define a thickness therebetween, the first leg defines a first length and the second leg defines a second length. A lid is configured for mounting to the body in a mounted configuration.

摘要： A button head tie has a button head and a tie strap. The button head is a generally flat member having an aperture for receiving the tie strap. The aperture includes lead-in ramps to facilitate tie strap insertion and is configured to prevent angled tie strap insertion. The tie strap is a flat elongate member having a wedge that is captured within the aperture. The remainder of the strap passes through the aperture. The wedge and strap have teeth and serrations on both sides, respectively, the teeth and serrations being engageable. In use, the strap is looped around a bundle and inserted into the aperture to either side of the wedge. Strap insertion force is reduced by standoff tabs which elevate the wedge out of aperture, temporarily, during installation. When loop tension is applied to the bundle, the wedge is pulled into the aperture, compressively locking the strap.

摘要： A seal has pre-cut slits formed in the seal body for securing the seal around a strap. The seal body has positioning tabs or a centering hole to position a hand tool to facilitate bending of the metal seal tabs defined by the pre-cut slits. The pre-cut seal is applied to overlapping sections of the strap and the seal tabs and strap ends are bent into an interlocking engagement sufficient to prevent withdrawal of the strap sections from the seal. A number of slits may be present in the seal depending on the size and shape of the seal, and the same number of slits may be formed on opposing sides of the seal. Different numbers of slits may also be formed, depending on the application. An inner surface of the seal may include a non-slip surface material such as grit or adhesive and/or may be formed with teeth or a knurled surface.

摘要： To provide a binding tool which facilitates the insertion of an end part of a binding band into a fixing tool body without wasting the binding band. A binding too comprises a fixing tool for binding 11 having ratchet pawls 7 and 9 for allowing a binding band 5 to move in an opposite direction but preventing the binding band 5 from moving in the return direction, respectively on opposed inner faces of a cylindrical binding tool body 3, and the binding band 5 which forms a loop by being inserted twice into an entrance of the fixing tool 11 from the same direction, wherein locking projections 25 are provided on both sides of the binding band 5 in proper pitches. An operating space of each of the ratchet pawls 7 and 9 are spaced out on entrance and exit sides of the fixing tool body 3. Further, bank-shaped belts 21 are provided on both sides of the band body 5.

摘要： A manually-operable crimping tool for lockingly securing a seal member upon overlapped end portions of plastic strapping is provided with particular structure such that the resulting crimped seal member and overlapped end portions of the plastic strapping have an undulated configuration whereby the overlapped end portions of the plastic strapping cannot readily become loosened or disengaged with respect to each other under the influence of axially applied tensile forces. The present invention is also directed toward the particularly structured or configured seal member as well as toward the resulting sealed joint formed or defined between the seal member and the overlapped end portions of the plastic strapping.
