摘要: A split bearing arrangement in a machine housing, particularly a crankshaft journal bearing for piston machines. The split bearing arrangement including a bearing block and a bearing cover that are made of materials of different hardnesses. In order to provide a material anchoring between the bearing cover and the bearing block that can be subjected to high loads and is cost-effective to produce, the bearing arrangement provides the bearing cover, which is made of an iron material, with cutting-edge like projections protruding above its clamping faces and, furthermore, provides grooves in the corresponding clamping faces of the bearing cover and the bearing block. These grooves in an initial mounting of the bearing cover with the required force serve to receive the material of the bearing block that is displaced in the pressing-in process when the projections are pressed into the opposite clamping faces of the bearing block, which is made of a light metal.

摘要: A journal bearing for a high speed surgical drill and/or attachment for rotatably supporting a cutter is made from a polymer of polyimide resin and graphite material and is designed to have a polygon configured bore where there are two point contact of the mating surfaces of the bore walls and cutter's shaft and preferably the bore is square shaped in cross section. This bearing results in a decrease in the envelope size of the support tube and hence, the overall diameter of the surgical instrument at the distal end enhances the line of vision of the cutter to the surgeon when the surgeon is performing surgical procedures. The entrance ends of the intermediate bearings are countersunk to define a ramp to ease the egress of the tool bit shaft for entering the tube of the drill motor or drill attachment during the assembly thereof.

摘要: An axle pivoting structure of a children's bicycle includes a shaft tube which is provided at both ends thereof with a position confining recess. The axle is provided at both ends thereof with a crank arm having a shaft support hole. The axle is fastened pivotally to the shaft tube by a first shaft support member and a second shaft support member. The first shaft support member is formed of two semicircular members, with each having an annular lip and an insertion protrusion corresponding in location to the position confining recess. The second shaft support member is formed of a circular tubular member having an annular lip and a tapered cell, in conjunction with two semicircular plug members, with each having an annular protruded edge which is received in the tapered cell. The circular tubular member is provided with an insertion protrusion corresponding in location to the position confining recess. The shaft tube is provided with an annular stop edge which is provided with a C-shaped retainer for pressing against the semicircular plug member.

摘要: A crank shaft thrust bearing half includes a semi-cylindrical bearing shell carrying a pair of radially outwardly projecting thrust flanges having outer thrust surfaces. Radial grooves are formed in the thrust face to divide the surface into thrust pads. Each thrust pad has hydrodynamic contours which provide a hydrodynamic wedging action during rotation of the shaft to support high thrust loads. The thrust pad at the trailing end of the flange has an elevated land area spaced about 30° away from the trailing end and includes a long relief area from the land to the end to provide a no contact zone of the flange. Locating the land away from the trailing end and providing the relief zone shifts the peak pressure location away from the end and toward the middle of the bearing to relieve the trailing end from stress. Having radially oriented oil grooves with suitable width enables adequate oil supply and improved hydrodynamic oil film generating capability.

摘要: There is disclosed a sliding bearing provided with a sliding bearing layer and a back metal layer bonded to the outer face of the sliding bearing layer, the back face of which back metal layer being coated with a phosphate coating at a portion where fretting wear is apt to occur while coated with a coating of a thermally good conductor at another portion where no phosphate coating is provided, whereby seizure resistance as well as fretting resistance is improved because the dispersing of heat can be improved by the coating of the thermally good conductor.

摘要: A bearing metal positioning structure in a split connecting rod with lowered production cost and improved accuracy in positioning the bearing metal. The bearing metal positioning structure includes a pair of bearing metal halves, each of which is formed into a circular arc shape traversing 180 degrees. The pair of bearing metal halves have flat mating planes which abut one another to form a cylindrical bearing metal. A pair of projections are disposed on each of the mating planes at both axial ends so as to project radially outwardly therefrom. Locking grooves to be engaged with the pairs of projections, and additional locking grooves, are integrally die-formed simultaneously with the production of a die-formed body of the split connecting rod.

摘要: For a machine housing with a split bearing arrangement, particularly journal bearing in piston machines, with a bearing cover clampably arranged via corresponding profiles on a bearing block, it is proposed that a bearing cover having a profile in its clamping face and acting as the tool electrode be used to produce by an electrical discharge machining process a corresponding profile in the clamping face of the bearing block of the machine housing serving as the workpiece electrode in order to achieve an advantageous formation of the profile. After the electrical discharge machining process, the bearing cover is mounted to the bearing block.
