    Abstract: A hybrid module for a powertrain of a motor vehicle includes an electric machine, a clutch device, and a frictionally-engaging separating clutch. The separating clutch is arranged between a dual-mass flywheel and an intermediate shaft. The separating clutch includes a counter-plate, an outer lamella carrier rigidly connected to the counter-plate, a pressure plate, axially movable relative to the outer lamella carrier, an intermediate plate, axially movable relative to the outer lamella carrier, a first clutch disk, axially movable and extending between the pressure plate and the intermediate plate, and a second clutch disk, axially movable and extending between the counter-plate and the intermediate plate. The pressure plate or the intermediate plate is connected to the outer lamella carrier for conjoint rotation therewith via a leaf spring, or the pressure plate or the intermediate plate is connected to the counter-plate for conjoint rotation therewith via a leaf spring.

    Abstract: A clutch system for coupling a drive shaft of a motor vehicle engine to a transmission input shaft of a motor vehicle transmission is disclosed. The clutch system includes a friction clutch for transmitting a torque between a torque-introducing element and a torque-discharging element. The system includes a ramp system for the axial displacement of a pressure plate of the friction clutch, wherein the ramp system has an input ramp and an output ramp, which can be turned in relation to the input ramp to change an axial extent of the ramp system. A pilot clutch for actuating the ramp system based on a differential speed between the torque-introducing element and the torque-discharging element is provided. The clutch system further includes an electromagnet for the magnetic actuation of the pilot clutch, wherein the pilot clutch is arranged between the friction clutch and the electromagnet in the axial direction and the ramp system is arranged radially on the inside in relation to the pilot clutch and/or in relation to the friction clutch.

    Abstract: A transmission for an energy storage and recovery system comprises a variable slip transmission and a clutch arranged to transmit drive while slipping. The level of torque transmitted through the slipping clutch is dependent on the clutch force but is independent of the clutch slip speed. Preferably the clutch is provided by a plurality of clutches connected in parallel in a range extender. When drive is transferred between clutches in parallel, the clutch forces of both clutches are controlled to maintain the total torque transmitted by the clutches. This reduces torque fluctuations at the energy source/sink during clutch transfer. Where there are two slipping clutches in series, one clutch is controlled to provide the required torque and the other clutch is controlled in response to a clutch slip speed. This helps to control the speed of rotation of the mass between the clutches.

    Abstract: A four-wheel-drive vehicle includes: a pump that is actuated by an electric motor; a friction clutch that has a plurality of clutch plates that are pressed by a piston that is movable by working oil discharged from the pump; a control device that controls the electric motor; front wheels, to which a drive force of an engine is always transferred; and rear wheels, to which the drive force of the engine is transferred in accordance with the fastening force of the friction clutch. When it is determined that the vehicle is in a high fastening force-requiring state in which it is necessary for the friction clutch to transfer a large drive force temporarily, the control device causes the electric motor to output torque that is larger than torque that the electric motor can continuously output.
